I think you're missing the point of most of the posts here. If Iowa fans were suddenly talking about Nebraska because of their addition to the Big 10, that would make sense, and I doubt this topic would exist. The fact is, Iowa fans have always badmouthed Nebraska. When it's coming from a team we've played more than 4 times in 30 years (Colorado, Missouri, Kansas State) at least there's a good foundation for the animosity. Bingo! I think it's hilarious they have to back up their talk now.

heard that about moore, though i expect he'll be at OT in 2012 either way after yoshi and marcel graduate. i'd guess moore and cotton will battle for the RG spot this season though. i would hope that one or both can be ready to play RT as well, as neither marcel nor sirles (assuming he's the swing tackle) make me think durable and talented. sirles is young though, and who knows, maybe marcel will suddenly be healthy and live up to his potential. I heard Sirles is moving to RT, Marcel to RG, which would put Yoshi at LT. Of course that could be completely false for all I really know. I did see Marcel at walmart the other day and it looks like he dropped quite a bit of weight, which would make sense if our guards will be pulling a lot. Where does that leave Qvale? Is he not progressing? They trying to get their 5 best linemen out on the field? Yeah the idea moving Marcel to guard is to get our best 5 out there. Sounds like Qvale isn't athletic enough to play guard in the new offense. Which I thought was odd, because they were always talking up his athleticism during his recruiting. What with him being a star basketball player and all.

I see that opinion quite a bit. But if they all pull their weight, then that should show they deserved the schollie. Right? That's not really a good argument. Anyone else who isn't recruited by any other good teams would be walking on and proving themselves worthy of a scholarship, not handed one from the start. I'm sure the fact that they were pretty much 100% "N" from the get-go had nothing to do with other schools not wanting to waste time on them.

All the Rivals guys are saying he showed much faster at our camp, and was one of the top performers there.. He was called a "man among boys" here scroll down a bit And some are hinting at him committing.. should know more soon This The rivals profile on him is off, he's run in the high 4.4's at camps. Evidently he was very impressive at camp this summer and we're recruiting him hard. Stafff spent a ton of time with him and TO talked to him for a freaking hour-and-a-half. Niiice.
