It was a grade 2 MCL sprain. I'm not a doctor but I don't think there's a difference between a tear and a sprain. Grade 1 is minor and grade 3 is a complete tear. He could have went back in, but it probably wouldn't have been the smartest thing.

No reason we shouldn't have the top defense in the league. Not a single school in the Big Ten can match our speed and athleticism on that side of the ball. Not even tOSU. The problem is, with a sputtering and turnover prone offense, the stats won't tell the story of how great our defense will be.

I agree he has a good voice and all. I don't care for him because he manages to be monotone and boring no matter what's going on in the game. I like Aikman. His subtle fat joke about Andy Reid a couple weeks ago was gold.

I mean I remember Rivers tearing an ACL, barely being able to walk, and he still finnished a playoff game, and went on to play another. Cutler deserves all the flak he gets for this. I am sorry to hear that as well. I don't like the idea of these things, but it should be random, no? Would you be more encouraged to hear that only Middle Eastern men were chosen for the scanners? Then we'd have a real problem. Let's be real here, when has a white, teenage girl ever committed an act of terror? I'm not advocating racial profiling, but a terrorist absolutely fits a certain profile and we'd be stupid not to use that information to our advantage. We are at war, hurting someone's feelings should be the least of our concerns. Do terrorists give a damn about our feelings or rights? No, they don't. But that's not who's going to be hurt by it. It's the guy who gets singled out just because of what he looks like, and that's not right. The whole thing is a bad deal all the way around. Bad idea, even worse execution.

I think our biggest problem this year was we took the zone read (the play) and tried to turn it into the zone read (the offense). Sure it's a decent play but you can't build your whole offense around one play and expect to have success. Unless you're in the Pac-10.

I can honestly say I knew he was going to be this good when he was in high school. Not that I can predict the future or anything, but it was very, very obvious he was a special player watching him in high school.

I went on the same rant several times back when Jake Locker was "the sure-fire #1 overall draft pick". I was wondering if any of the scouts actually watched him play football. Sure he has all the "tools", just not that great of a QB.

Sometimes I actually feel my IQ dropping reading this board. "Zac Lee's arm strength was 20% last year" comes to mind.

Heard and Green will both miss spring ball. Next year is going to be the Rex Burkhead show, which I'm fine with. Hope he stays healthy.

Dobson is the man. A new OC will be found. Sooner or later. Agreed, Dobson is the man. Hopefully we find an OC sooner than later. Before too long it will be Bo on the hot seat if the offense keeps tripping over it's own feet.

Yeah this new unsupported theory is the dumbest one I've heard yet. And if our team doesn't like Cody, we're in trouble. He's about as likeable as a guy could get.
