The argument "at least we got to 10 wins" just doesn't cut it. Now looking back on those comeback wins it seems clear that the offense was bailing them out most of the season. Furthermore, when they did lose it was embarrassiing. Some serious changes are in order.
When you consider what happened last night in Pelini's fifth year, it's especially frustrating when you consider what Brian Kelly has accomplished in only his third year at Notre Dame.
Rex Burkhead deserves that career day in the B1G championship that defines his college career. I hope he runs for like 220 yds and 3 TDs and gets a well deserved game MVP award.
No mishandling of the ball between Mark Pelini and Taylor so hopefully that shouldn't be a problem next week. Someone needs to step up in the absence of Steinkuhler.
Well, if you believe what Bo would say, he would say "execute." Seriously though, Nebraska needs to stay focused and not look ahead. Look at this as a one game season, hold onto the ball, and limit or even eliminate fumbles.
While I miss some of our old rivals in the Big XII, I like the move. The TV coverage, with the inclusion of the BTN is much better and there are some good, quality teams in the B1G that create some exciting matchups.
