      You can say Matta wasn't technically fired but I think OSU strongly hinted that he should retire. Next season was going to be a wasted year either way and with the way recruiting was heading, he was going to be let go next year anyways. The botched back surgery in '07 by OSU medical didn't help and the negative recruiting from the surgery didn't help either. I wish him nothing but the best because he is a great coach.

      He was fired, there is no argument against that. I am saying results weren't there, they made the decision.
