  1. You're the one who made the ridiculous "moot point" statement.....
  2. Yes I understand this, I mean I've actually seen a ref hold up a grounding because the QB never looked. It was close, I think it could have still been called, "in the area" is an interpretation. I understand the rule
  3. Do not agree, those coaches understand situational football much better than our staff at the moment. Frost will have to get better strategically in the Big10 it's not the same as it was at UCF. The coaches and better the players are smarter. No they would not be 0-6
  4. The first one was clearly grounding, that back was blocking on the play. But that's why they have them stay back, like that, exact situation.
  5. He is a large reason we have 2 national titles. If it really gets you so upset what someone from an old team says on social media.... I bet you think the coaches are talking directly to you during interviews as well. Also the coaching was terrible at the end, he's not wrong
  6. Yes I do, sure did today. How do feel about the play calling late in the game today? Asking for a friend Yes I do, sure did today. How do feel about the play calling late in the game today? Asking for a friend
  7. That play calling though, come at me again for the atrocious play calling. Front, center, on point, ATROCIOUS, on both sides late in the game.
  8. No I'm criticizing in real time while it's happening. With others who have the same uhhh why would you do that. Atrocious, bad, not good whatever description, if you didn't like the word then whatever. Back to Wisconsin, we couldn't run the ball? Is that why the 3 running plays to back in the first half all secured over 5 yards? Just because a defense is good at defending a particular type of play, doesn't mean the attempt shouldn't be made. When it was it actually was successful, weird. Just because quick passes get out of the hands of the quarterback fast doesn't take away the fact that your linemen aren't engaged. They are backing up for a small amount of time and done with the play. I am not saying run the ball 3 times up the middle to start, but not engaging the linemen early is the biggest factor I think of the penalties on offense. They go down in the second half usually, why is that, well we are running the ball more, the players are comfortable, and wildly coyote at QB has usually calmed down.
  9. Absolutely I can, the last 8 minutes of the Colorado game. Not using the the play clock to run down the game clock, and don’t go into we run a fast paced offense because we routinely run the play clock down waiting for a sideline play adjustment. Using Bell to try to secure first downs on short yardage plays. Coming out of a break and throwing the ball the ball when there was no need to in the situation and it resulted in a interception. Purdue game, Oz running wild in the second half, Nebraska gets ball back with chance to get within one score with 9 minutes left. Pass, pass, pass, punt. I will tell you right now that strategy of the actual game of football is at a monstrous higher level then it was at UCF. He will learn, but it isn’t just running rough shot offense in the Big10, the coaches and players are to good. And to be honest he has been outcoached in the actual strategy of football so far. Not even to mention going for it on 4th down against Wisconsin when there was absolutely no need to do so, but that was early in the game. Protecting your offensive line. When your defense goes and holds a good team to two field goals, you might think of trying to run the ball instead of throwing all of the downs to give the ball back immediately, and put the opponent in good field position. We all agree the offensive line is a weak point correct, they had penalties that took away positive plays correct? Do you ever think that the play was successful because of the penalty? So why are you going to put the weakest part of your team under immediate passing duress? The run, sweep, running opinion, can mitigate some of this and get those guys involved in the game. They played about 7 snaps in the first quarter because of this, not protected, multiple penalties. You should be trying to protect them at the beginning of the game, because low and behold, guess what?! They got better as the game went on and they got more snaps, unfortunately the game was over at half time.
  10. Ya winning a lot really sucked. I do agree with some of what you say. The over emphasis of being 0-5 is somehow all related to Riley. The game losing penalties, atrocious late game play calling, special teams being a joke, QB turning it over in key situations, not trying to protect your OLine early when your defense is doing its job and short driving it, consistently losing the field position battle. That stuff is on this staff, those are correctable, the quality of player on the field is mostly Riley. It is kind of weird to watch the fans separate the actual players from this coaching staff like they are different entities but work for the same company.
  11. Also had another massive turnover Yes we should but most people won't see it like that.
  12. Ozigbo is the far superior back, Bell cost us multiple drives trying to dance for 1 yard instead of running for 1 yard. Also facts
  13. The future, the future 20xx, recruits down the road, system has to be implemented, just wait until, showing signs of, he went undefeated at UCF. Did I cover it? When does this stop being ther rhetoric we have heard for 18 years? You just have to wait....I ask for what, to repeat the same thing again. But Kingblank this years different....o so it continues.
  14. You can't include guys that didn't make it to campus, Blades and Watts shouldn't be on the list. Those factors are known before anyway.
  15. Ding ding, someone actually watched. Like the 5 perfect pockets he just decided to run out of for no reason and get tackled.
  16. I hope you aren’t surprised 21 got burned even after he knew what was coming. I mean like only if the was evidence of this happing for 3 years or something. Quarterbacks literally just follow him around.
  17. No it did not, these results were negative on the plays I am referring to.
  18. Short yardage back, 4th on depth chart, lucky to get 5 carries, ect. I also remember getting crushed for saying he was co no1 2 weeks before the season. Doesn't matter now the proof is on the field, just let that dude lead the team up and down the field.
  19. You mean like the multiple tackles he broke, the fact that ge was running people over, he concussed a guy by smoking him. He needed more carries, more opportunities, you can't just go away from someone who is literally running over a defense.
  20. He runs out of perfect pockets, he did this multiple times Saturday, where if he just steps up into the pocket he is safe to throw.
  21. No he said it right the first time
  22. Why is this such an assumption, 2 National Title contenders just moved other QBs in front one ones who were competing for national titles. If this is the assumption I think you are completely off base. Assuming someone is your four year starter as a staff is also ridiculous. I don't think this staff thinks like that at all, and they shouldn't because the best teams in the country don't give 5 farts, they start the best they have.
