  1. No, no he wasn’t. He was a hard coach and coached with fire. People couldn’t take it around here. Bo was fine, never offended me or any of the people I know that are Husker fans.
  2. What Frank has done at Ohio is pretty good, you literally have no idea what you are talking about.
  3. The year after Bo got fired, that team had the potential at QB, Dline, WR, CB, PK to win the BIG10. I will stand by that for the rest of my life. That team was going to be good, and had the possibility to be great.
  4. I would be real careful where you start treading there my friend, keep it on your side of the line, end of discussion. I would expect that kind of comment out of a Colorado fan.... not a nebraska one. Don't for one second I need some Financial advice from a message board warrior.
  5. Who said that? I sure didn’t. Yes some of do have to budget the tickets into what we do for the year including what goes with that, just like your travel. No idea what the difference would be, but I would definitely take the refunded money and it would probably go straight back into buying tickets. Sell my tickets? I haven’t missed a game in 14 years so that is not a possible thing to do.
  6. Easily happy, tickets will be refunded if no game is played for the people who bought tickets for a game that never happened. Like you said it hasn’t ever happened before so why can’t something like .....gasp....refunding the tickets happen because that has never happened before either. I am upset about getting another ticket? Nope never said that, but on you for arguing something that didn’t exist. Why wouldn’t I look at social media at the topic? Clearly you are hear defending the multimillion dollar company, so it looks like we have people on both sides.
  7. They should refund the ticket to the game, that is my stance and it seems like what I am looking at here on most sites, newspapers and social media the majority stance. You mean if they reschedule I get a ticket I already paid for?! O how genuinely generous of the lord Moos! It is almost like I signed a season ticket contract to pay for 7 home games.....
  8. Ya unfortunately concerts and events have refunded events for thise types of things before. No it doesn’t have to happen but at the same time, you want to play the Greatest Fans in the world, why wouldn’t you treat them as such. Reevaluate their anger.....is that coming from someone who doesn’t have to make a budget decision about tickets, food, tailgate, parking, work, family, for every game every year? Some us have to make very real decisions about getting tickets every year. So ya when that time effort and money goes into an event that have gone to for how ever many years, paid the donation ect, it’s a pretty big middle finger to not get refunded for the game.
  9. Who knows, it just seems rather SE like, you would think the Moos would act differently but in the end it is what it is. Time will tell if a big booster gets a little irritated about having that $200k per game box.
  10. So they should just pay for things that don’t happen?
  11. A multimillion dollar corporation in a conglomerate of other multimillion dollar organizations. Providing income and revenue to many individuals and businesses. That has an entire network dedicated to it. That is ran like a fortune 500 company. Yes yes it is a good comparison. Nope
  12. Actually all of the thrid party ticket websites are refunding people. The people who buy from the University are the ones getting screwed. We could have taken our donation value plus the face value of the first game and bought single game tickets all year for cheaper.
  13. No it's embarrassing that you didn't have a plan in place for a total cancellation. The weather said thunderstorms from 6pm until Midnight starting the Sunday before.
  14. I still don't understand how Moos and the other AD didn't have a contingency plan when they knew about the weather for a week! It's just an embarrassing lack of foresight.
  15. You are going to make me cry right now
  16. Not as long as Tom Osborne is alive, and even after I think it's a long shot. Basketball, and baseball would get it way before football ever would.
  17. He is still a junior?! Two starting years at the position you should be a stud not a hopeful prospect. Corner back is one of the top positions players can play immediately. No he was not one of the best corners, he was promised a starting spot by Riley. Nhis play on the field showed that he should not have been playing. It is whatever he needs to prove himself or one of the freshman will take his spot. He has not done what he asked to, he been burned on many occasions and shys away from actually making a tackle. He is horrible in run support, I am not even going to get into his break speed, incorrectly turning on receivers and a complete inability to look back for the ball. That is how he played. Has that changed? maybe it has but I reserve “playmaker” for someone who makes plays.
  18. Still a lot a hype that has never paid off, defense playmaker......I will just hope for a serviceable C+ game from him.
  19. Yes, yes he did, just because it wasn't on the exact same time line, it's the same action because of not starting.
  20. Lmfao if it would have brought Nebraska a title, it wouldn't have mattered at all. And yes the situations are extremely similar. Actually he didn't even try to compete for the next QB job, he went to where it would be easier to start.
