  1. Well, hell, while we're dreaming, I'll throw out the name of one Guz Malzahn.
  2. Well it's not like this is the first time we've seen a Big 12 rule worded vaguely. **ahem**adjusting clock on replays**ahem**
  3. I hate Boise because I've been a TCU fan for 8 years.

  5. How would you like to change that? Offenses revolve around the QB. If your QB is no threat to run and little threat to pass, what do you think is going to happen? It doesn't help that our talent at WR is mediocre at best, we even had Will Henry out there at one point on a 3rd down. How good do you think the Colts' offense would be without Peyton Manning? Or Auburn's without Cam Newton? Offenses revolve around the position, not a player. Those two offenses wouldn't be as good without their starting quarterbacks, but there wouldn't be the dropoff we see. The coaching staff's job is to have players prepared to play. Watson has never had good performances out of his team against quality defenses while he's been here, going back to the days with Callahan, and as long as we retain him, it's going to stay that way. Gilmore, Watson and Cotton have got to go.
  6. It's because Taylor laughed when he saw the naked pictures of Bo that Niles Paul has.
  7. Anyone see College Football Live today? Trevor Matich made himself out to be a fool to anyone who watched NU-OSU.

I'm not following. What did he say?

That Oklahoma State threw away from Amukamara, AND that only 3 balls were thrown his way and caught and they were all inconsequential and Prince made the tackle right away. I'm not bagging on Prince, but that flea flicker surely wasn't inconsequential. He may have been trying to make Prince sound better, but he made the rest of the backfield sound like minced meat...including Fonzie, who performed MUCH better on Blackmon.

It makes sense that he didn't watch the game, that's why he works for ESPN

  8. Did anyone else notice that the helmets were "cream" colored against KU?

I did. I figured it was the lighting (night game) or the poor quality of the PPV broadcast.

  9. Illinois vs. Northwestern @ Wrigley. Did not see that coming.
  10. I was looking at stats, and both Helu and Martinez look to surpass the 1,000 yard mark in our next game. Burkhead would need to average 88.25 yards per game (if we make the Big 12 CCG) to get to 1,000. Not outside the realm of possibility considering he's been coming on strong as of late, especially if we keep running wildcat. I'm one of the guys that calls for Watson's head, but if this happens, I think a kudos is in order. Especially considering Nebraska has never had 3 1,000 yard rushers in the same season, and only had 2 in the same season 3 times.
  11. If Rogers never played for us is there any punishment we could even get? We wouldn't have to forfeit any wins, but would we have to give up scholarships? It seems like it would be a small probation rather than something massive like USC and what's sure to happen at UNC. And that's if anything even happened, which I'm sure nothing did.
  12. Just put Marcus Mendoza back there. It's time we get something out of him.
  13. Guess I should've re-sorted, huh? Thanks for the heads up. Should be fixed now... just refresh. Ah, no biggie. I was just wondering if there was something I was missing.
  14. Why is Stanford ahead of us in that projection when they have a lower average?
  15. There's a difference between wanting your opponent to feel pain and actually wanting to injure your opponent. I would agree that every defensive player wants to bring pain, he wants that receiver to feel that hit the next day. Very few intentionally want to injure a player.
  16. I'd like to think that the ISU player who knocked Cody Green out for a play would get suspended, as that was the most obvious example of leading with the crown of your helmet I've seen since Brandon Merriweather (Granted that's not long, but I watch a lot of football).
  17. Well I don't think Barfknect will ever shake the tag after voting Michigan #1 in 1997, but he sure as hell doesn't try to shake it either.
  18. Not me. I've already stated in this thread that I don't agree with his suspension. I never called it a dirty or cheap play. But yeah, keep believing it's a conspiracy to screw the Huskers. And how else do you explain ONLY Martin getting suspended? Did they just refuse to review the hit on Martinez even though it was flagged?
  19. I'm not sure how to reply to a specific post on my phone, but I'm pretty sure 7 is the number of perfection. Anyhooz, Sean Callahan said on his Twitter that AG's teammates told him his decision will shock the world. I don't like the sound of that.
  20. There's the "good pass" on a field goal attempt. The completely out of nowhere "that 147 is yards, not words" and then the quip about the asbestos. What the hell? Even my wife was saying these guys are schmucks, and she usually gets on me for ridiculing people.
