@JJ Husker  This is a complete guess, but some of it may have to do with where each state/school is at with NIL etc.   I know in '20 there was absolutely no one I wanted to play as.  I also think it may have something to do with getting more apparel sponsorship money in the game.  NBA2k does quite a bit of apparel branding, and I'd imagine that helps bring in more revenue for the game.  For instance, I don't believe any Adidas schools were represented in the very s#!tty Face of the Franchise/career mode for last year's Madden.  I'm very open to corrections though.  Madden '20, as I mentioned in the thread, had you only play two games on your University team.  What GSG is saying is that in '21 you will play two whole seasons.

You may also be on to something with the licensing.  Maybe 'bama was wanting more money for the licensing than EA was willing to offer.  

I thought NBA2k20 had a great story/career mode.  I thought Face of the Franchise in '20 for Madden was not fun at all.  You just started in the playoffs, where it was snowing in Austin, TX.  Very strange.

Now that they added Nebraska in I guess I'm obligated to get Madden '21 whenever they port it to PC.

Yea I know I just have been watching the show day one and I really couldn't stand the MTVification of the show. It sucked. It happens with so many shows that start out about one thing, then they slowly start adding in the stupid reality TV format where they sit down and explain what they were thinking, which provides even more opportunities for the editing in of drama
