didnt care about them getting their butt kicked, if anything, everyone probably had something to gain from that being a more competitive game. all i could think was how embarrasing it was that they kickied or butt so bad.

agree with you. i thought the OSU hit was a good football play and him trying to protect himself from the hit, i , MU a little bit more agressive but not blatent, but he could have had the same impact with a hit at the waist. i guess they needed to drop down lower.

It does not take lone when the #1 says yes. i'm gonna guess this deal was done before Bo was fired. SE probably decided after the Wisky debacle that he was going to move now and put the wheels into motion. guys at this level don't make decisions this big without a lot due diligence and making sure things are sealed and done before moving...i'll bet he's been talking to potential hires for weeks.....highly calculated with the firing being step 1 in a plan that was finalized last week.

ill withhold judgment until I see the rest of his staff and how this unfolds...ill admit I was surprised and had to google to see who he was..but I am intrigued .if be brings in a kick ass staff and runs this like he's the CEO , this could be a brilliant hire...time will tell. maybe this is just the right guy who has the facilities and money to leverage himself ...and this team into something special. something that he has never had in Corvalis.

we have all worked for bosses who we liked cause they were nice and we have had others we worked for who were hard, and we respected them. i got a lot more out of hard than nice..these kids dont have the perspective yet that playing maybe for nice in the holiday bowl is less fun than playing for a hard ass in the rose bowl....it seems like they really like Bo, and i dont doubt that..Bo's a great man by all accounts, but he wasnt geting it done above a certain level, maybe he was too likeable, hence the kids like him and stick up for him. its like our kids, we are not here to be their best friends, we are here to be their parents--raise them and hopefully have a great relationship with them at the same time....but not cause we are nice/easy.

And, more importantly, let them run their own schemes. +1000 on both and hire a QB coach, and then get out of the way...

maybe a phased approach starting with replacing asst coaches and/or coordinators first, with Bo being last if he can't get it righted in the next few years...there is a lot of money at stake...what...$8-9M maybe? 1 thing for sure, things have to change.

at what point do you change the scheme to fit players? about 6 years ago maybe Bo should go visit K state. they seem to have a corner on it...

our national perception is a joke to anyone born before 1975 and we are non existent to anyone born after 1995 and Missou lost to auburn in a shoot out out in the SEC championship last year. id say the SEC has been a good move for them. if they don't pinkle against Georgia they were probably #1 in the nation for a bunch of last year...yeah id like to be the missou of the B1G. the teams that went to the SEC have faired quite well.
