And isn't it still a football game? Derp.

"Not surprisingly, Nebraska coach Bo Pelini doesn't think the Badgers' experience in the title game will have much impact this time"

THE title game not A title game. Clearly the author was referring to the Big Ten CG. There's no derp here, just have to pay close attention to the wording.

All the same, Bret may think it's more unique than any other place but, Lucas Oil probably can't hold a candle to the experience of Jerry World.

What a shame. Very sad for everyone involved.

If parents are more actively involved in their children's lives, many of these things would never happen. Still as a parent it's impossible to know everything that's going on. Just try to always communicate with your kids and let them know they can come to you if they need anything.

And for the record, I mean this in both cases. It's horrible that this girl was bullied for so long that she felt suicide was a necessary out. It's certainly though just as disturbing that these sick kids who felt it was necessary to verbally abuse this girl were not monitored at all in their social networking and school life. Clearly in this case, the father is completely oblivious to the fact that his daughter had pushed a girl into feeling like she needed to die. Poor parenting...

  3. http://news.msn.com/us/precautionary-lockdown-at-a-newtown-school - I wonder what the threat was and who would be sick enough to threaten anything after what just happened.

It could have been anything. Just like after 9/11. Someone could probably just mention the word 'gun' and a lock down could happen.

I wonder what set the guy off? Seems like a totally inappropriate reaction by the cop. But we don't know what the old dude said.

I don't see how it would matter what he said, he made no physical move towards the officer, and the officer lied about the situation.

Wow.....exactly opposite of the type of person that should represent the police force. You expect integrity and heroism, yet you get a f'ing coward like this instead. It paints all police in a bad way. They are not all cowardly pricks like this guy, but it does seem to be a growing problem.

Can a quarterback executing a playaction fake get hit the same way?

    2. beanman

      beanman

Are you honestly comparing the two?

    3. zoogs

      zoogs

Yeah, they're sorta similar, right. They're both playfakes and the QB ends up without the ball, inside the pocket. I think if a QB can get hit making a fake handoff then read option should be fair game.

  4. http://www.nbcnews.com/news/china/state-secret-revealed-toxins-taint-one-fifth-china-farmland-n84026 - I'm sure glad the US of A likes to import so much food from that country.

We import a lot of food from other countries - especially seasonal foods that people want all year. Welcome to the global economy.

Um, there was no douchiness intended in that post. It wasn't directed at you or anyone in particular, but more a commentary on what global interconnectivity gets us (both good and bad). However, as that's a personal attack, I do hope you receive a warning. Thanks.

I still remember Tirico (I think it was him) saying that there should have been a penalty for Nerbaska players coming onto the field, yet you could also see Michigan players on the field too. ESPN not giving us any credit again.

I just like the fact that Herby just said like 2 words the whole time
