  1. I thought he was up to, like, 17 at some point? Po, help me out here. Sixteen time (eight-time NWA, six-time WCW, and two-time WWF) and I agree with you sir, the quotations were ill advised. My emotions got the best of me.
  2. Moudy out with a shoulder injury per another board post...
  3. Solid post...good analysis although I see next year being as much of a struggle as it was this year. Definitely not saying we are not up to the task but we are losing some quality players. We will recover... this is a young team but it can only get better. We need a D that can play potentially lights out versus not only a pocket passer but a guy who has scrambling prowess. Tougher said than done by a long shot. I have to say I am really liking the vibe from this conference so far though. Looking forward to a strong finish for the Cornhuskers in 2011-12 and a promising season in 2012-13.
  4. Much respect to not only Rex but all the players today...especially the seniors! We will miss ya!
  5. So more along the lines of say a Colorado game or Mizzou? Maybe "friendship" was a bit hasty.....perhaps relationship would have been a better term. I just fear rivalry games bonded by respect (bitter or not) like Oklahoma are a thing of the past in the B1G for NU.
  6. In regards to PSU I know there was some ugly 2002 blood and certain uncertainty leading into this weekends contest. With coach Brown leading by example and the showing of solidarity between the two teams yesterday before the game in the wake of such tragedy do you see this PSU/NU divisional rivalry becoming something special or just another game? To me it seems that both teams should feel a certain respect for each other after yesterday and continue that good sportsmanship into future games.
  7. The confidence is bouncing back strong after the strong Iowa performance against Minnesota.
  8. Go Minnesota, lol!

  9. This was awesome! Great to see the team so tight like that.
  10. Such a shame to see a guy like Crick go down for the count. What heart the kid has though...a testament to his character. I hope to see him succeed in the NFL and wish the brute the best! This question pops into my head though. I know that a hobbled Jared Crick is still a huge threat out there and so did the teams we played so far. We saw double teams on the guy all season. This will free up the other teams guys to potentially cause more trouble for our defense. I hope that whoever fills his shoes is ready to take their game to the next level. GBR!
  11. I do not post much but I have to pipe up here. Booing these kids is deplorable and sends a stark message that nothing short of perfection is acceptable. Criticism leads to growth but a line needs be drawn. These kids bust their ass week in and week out to what end? To err is human. To have "fans" reject effort and struggle through verbal jeers to the point of wanting perfection is so weak. We are better than this as a fan base! This team is young and not a top 10 team....not this year, but we are close...at least I hope so. I speak of faith...faith in your team and yourself through thick and thin. Frustration is inevitable but must be weathered. We have all the talent and skills to thrive in the realm of college football. However there is unquestionable youth and inexperience on this team. This is an unfortunate reality yet is no reason to abandon these players no matter how many years they have worn scarlet and cream. Players new and old need discipline and confidence to take us to the next level. A lot of this comes down to coaching and execution...no doubt. But part of this needs to come from the fans that turn their back on their team at the first signs of adversity. These players see what other fans can and will do for their teams around the nation... on television and in person. Many teams fans put ours to shame but I still think we have one of, if not the best collection of fans of the game in the country! We need to let our positives outweigh our negatives in good times and bad. This is a rocky ride and you better be in for the long haul because we have a ways to go! To quote a certain doctor of journalism.....'“If a thing like this is worth doing at all, it's worth doing right.' This pertains to being a fan and during times like these the team needs to know that the NU faithful, the Sea of Red have their back today, tomorrow and for months to come! Get up, stand up! GO BIG RED!
  12. Last time I checked.....wait, .hold up....... Yup, just checked again. We are still THE Nebraska Cornhuskers. Back under the bridge with you! Ridikulus!!! (keeping with the theme)
  13. GO BIG RED!!! LET'S GO BLACKSHIRTS!!! FIRE IT UP!!!
  14. Green is running with purpose! Go Big Red! T Mart needs to stay calm and consistent...I like what I am seeing from him during the second half. D still needs to turn it up a notch.
  15. I could not find it either so I remade it. It is not exact (font) but should work for what you want to do with it. I included a link to the larger version. http://i.imgur.com/L1Orl.jpg
  16. I thought they were going to show the Mizzou game from last season as well.
