Yeah, you just can't compare Nebraska's football history with Nebrasketball history.  Our basketball history is more like Kansas' football history.  It's lacking. 

Miles has an upperclass roster with 2, possibly 3 NBA players on it. I'd argue this is the most talent, top to bottom, on a Nebraska team since the late 90s. A team that won 22 games and finished 4th in the (albeit, weak) Big Ten. I have zero issue, with all of that known, with saying that the line of demarcation is an NCAA tournament win. It's his best shot, and the program's best since 1991. 

I agree with @The Dude , Nebraska basketball has never been in a position to demand a tourney win and I think if he makes the Dance he probably won't be fired. But I also think the tourney win SHOULD be the minimum threshold considering the time he's been on the job and the current conditions. At some point the AD has to start demanding/expecting results from men's BB. I think we're at that point and I think Moos is the guy to do it.
