Tried it's too dark, mental picture taken though. I love May weather in Nebraska.

There wasn't any way to get a decent picture with all that, anyway. The moon is nearly at zenith, and the upper reaches of the back end contained no lightning. The majority of the lightning was further in toward the core. And it wasn't very photogenic lightning anyway, as most of it remained within the cloud mass and just produced flashes.

Don't get me wrong, it was cool. I was out with my tripod and camera system ready to shoot photos, but it just wasn't a good one for it. There will definitely be better ones.
