  1. Is the NFL trying to sabotage itself by eleminating everything the fans like?

They've been doing that for awhile. Ya'll are way more patient than I am...

Agreed. The continued attacks on celebrations after touchdowns and big plays are getting old. NFL truly stands for no fun league.

  2. Maybe they were taking measures to remedy the problem and were over come by fire or their oxygen ran out. Communications could have been damaged or they didn't have time to relay the message. Who knows, but if the plane is in the South Indian Ocean it's seems much more likely than a hijacking to me.
  3. Anybody seen the movie "About Schmidt"? Thoughts?

Same director as Nebraska who has a penchant for quirky characters. Interesting movie with considerable Nebraska scenery.

      ^someone's almost got it...

  4. I think the decompression/fire/explosion arguments are basically gone because the evidence overwhelmingly suggest that the plane remained airborne for several hours after communication ceased. Do you think all these reports are false? Autopilot?
  5. Do MSU fans not know their left from right? they just chanted walk instead of the left right when a guy fouled out.

  6. One just opened up in Lincoln a few months ago.
  7. It was also raining with generally poor visibility during some of the day light hours there.
  8. probably another false leads This is likely the best lead yet, it's near the limit of the plane's range.
  9. Shouldn't have took a nap today guise.
  10. Australians think the may have found debris related to the missing plane in the south Indian Ocean. Australian and US assets investigating. http://www.cnn.com/2014/03/19/world/asia/malaysia-airlines-plane/ On the terrorism discussion, anything is possible but it's usually the simplest and least exciting option that's the reality ie decompression/fire. I really wonder why the terrorism side has been so played up by the media but a possible fire has been brushed aside. I haven't even heard anymore about the oil rig worker's sighting. Has nobody looked at the cargo manifest yet? The passengers on board easily carry enough batteries to pose a threat as well.
  11. It was pointed out in quite a few games over the years. I think Jessie Palmer laughed at it but couldn't knock it. They always had one in studio and never mentioned them being slick.
  12. How'd you know he was Jesus?
  13. It's a start. Doesn't mean he didn't do it before... Who was the last hire that was one of Bo's buddies? Joseph? Or Fischer?
  14. I only used the EA video because it sounds better with "football" highlights. Plus we could use #Boom! Or how about the driving rhythm of QOTSA
  15. The service ceiling is listed at 43,100 feet. I highly doubt the cabin would decompress at 45,000 feet.
  16. Somebody get James Cameron and Robert Ballard on the phone!
  17. I don't know for sure but I would be pretty surprised if you can turn off all the communications by flipping the wrong switches on the dashboard. I would think those would be located elsewhere. And with that many people on board - even just the number of crew members - surely they all wouldn't have dropped exactly at once such that no one could have at least radioed that something weird was going on. I always thought it was kind of like being drunk, so you never really know what might happen. I agree. It's not impossible. But I just think that they'd have to be far enough out of their normal positions that it would be very unlikely. CNN showed in a simulator where the switch is at in the center console. It's not really out of the way but you have to turn it all the way for it to be off.

  19. I'll have you know they're as smooth as eggs.
  20. Better find a football team again before they do that...
  21. How the hell has this one not made it in here yet
  22. I could still see decompression as a possibility. If they were getting hypoxia they could been confused and started switching dials and such to turn the transponder off and change the heading without knowing exactly what they were doing. But like CNN it's just speculation. I'm curious about GPS. Don't these planes use it as a navigation option? And if so is there no way to check communication with the satellites and triangulate another last known contact area?
