  1. Probably my favorite "modern" album. Always clears my head when I need it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1uZMBV6xAGg
  2. Walks and sd have a good point. There are much, much larger issues in the Native population that a majority of people would like to continue to sweep under the rug like they've been doing for nearly the past 100 years. I'm not going to sit here and pretend they're a pressing issue for me personally but the ignorance a vast majority of American's have to the issues, whether self imposed or from a lack exposure, is disheartening to me. It took an elective course in college and attending a seminar as an assignment for me to even be exposed to some of them.
  3. Even with the injuries I'd still lean Rodgers as long as Jordy Nelson is a go. Like Mav said the Bronco's will be better with Bailey and Miller.
  4. I'd put an F-18 or 22 against it any day. well, Aussie Airpower was just the opposite.....scroll down Hornets vs. Flanker page http://www.ausairpow...vs-Flanker.html the last paragraph... Keep reading and you will find the F-22 is still the bench mark. But the Russians always know how to do it cheaper.
  5. I realized that I just figured I would try to post an intelligent comment for once. But this is neither the time nor place. So...
  6. I'm probably one of the more ignorant people to post in this forum, which is why I peruse here, but aren't a good number of those facts likely tied to baby boomers reaching retirement and collecting social security benefits etc? forgive me for not posting a gif.
  7. He has all the best gifs. Here's another is exactly what I was thinking when I saw that face live.
  8. If he looses his appeal can be file a suit? Because this is just insane. No one on espn even thinks he should be fined.
  9. pick up Eli. The Vikings pass defense is atrocious. He's projected the most out of anyone, but his passing game has been atrocious in it's own right. All the guys I listed are basically the best available. Pryor is gone. There's Bradford, Alex Smith, Geno Smith and that's about it for quality.
  10. Is Nick Foles available? Might be a flier pick-up for a bye week. Was going to grab him but I was too far down the waiver order or what ever it's called, and he got picked up immediately.
  11. Brees is on a biweek and I have Rothlisberger on the bench but he's up against an improved Raven's D. Do I go with Big Ben or do I pick up Chad Henne or Tannehill? Both have good match ups this week against San Diego and Buffalo respectively. I have Blackmon in the flex spot so I'm kind of leaning towards Henne, but I'm just not sure what to do. I guess Eli is available too and I have Cruz, but I just don't trust him at all any more.
  12. Yeah I remember that too. I think it was kindergarten for me. All you big boys and girls got to watch while we had to go inside. Never was fond of that teacher.
  13. I actually don't think he's that slow, he surprised me with a scramble or two and was quicker than I thought he'd be. He's at least as fast and maybe faster than Zac Lee was, which isn't saying much but he's the "slowest" we've had since Zac Taylor. Ron just doesn't glide like Taylor and Tommy do, he's got that pounding style of similar to Andrew Luck so he looks even slower than he is.
  14. I was thinking it was most likely his MCL since it got rolled on sideways. I knew it wasn't good as much pain as he was in right away. Really sucks, hope it's as minor as it can be and he makes a quick recovery.
  15. Kenny Mayne doing sportcenter is good stuff.

He was just filling in, but his dry humor was hilarious.

  16. +1 - that is one thing I noticed as well. It seems that TA can feel and see the pressure in ways TM can't & moves to avoid it. TM can get happy feet a bit to quick. I was wondering about Turner's drop pass - perfectly thrown into his hands. Didn't look like Turner stretched out for it - he was later out of uniform - what kind of injury does he have and I wondered if that contributed to that dropped TD pass. He's had a tweaked hammy for a few weeks now, that's probably why he couldn't get under the ball and catch it.
  17. I wouldn't be so sure about that, there are a lot of reasons for them to stay. If they are both as good as they are billed to be I could see us going to some kind of 2 QB system if one is more mobile or a better passer than the other. Even if we didn't do that the starter is going to get banged up at some point, and the other guy could see decent playing time. And assuming Stanton is the #2 he will have an entire year to prove himself anyways.
  18. Auburn had somebody ejected in their spring game and the first week of play.
  19. You could. I think the AP is a joke. None of the 4-2 teams should be ranked ahead of us except maybe Washington, but Stanford is making me question that one.

I think that just comes from the experience and them having to think less and react on instinct instead.
  21. HELLLOOOOOOOOOOOO MONDAY Speaking of Mondays, where the hell is ADS?
  22. I'm not sure that's the word I would use. We beat teams we should have beat, the way we should have beat them. Nothing really impressive just expected for a good team.
  23. What good bourbon is? Some maybe. But I think a couple of the Nebraska beat writers only like the taste of sour grapes. From a bag? Because that is just straight classy!
