Fine. There is a college in Lincoln, therefore it is a college town. Happy? Not for years.

But the downtown atmosphere really dwindles from late May to early August. Yes Lincoln is more than a college town, but it's still a town dependent on it's college so it's still a college town imo. It suffers, but it still exists. I have friends who do live in college towns and if school isn't in session their literally is no one out about doing anything. This is a college town, one where the population more than doubles the weekend before school starts. You're just arguing semantics.

What do you want from them? They're not doing anything the SEC doesn't do, with the exception of in state/border rivalries they're schedule is just as vanilla as the B1G. If it weren't for TCU vs LSU, OU vs ND, and Texas vs BYU the Big 12's OOC schedule would be atrocious.

The OSU game that year turned out pretty good in no small part because of David, so I probably wouldn't change much there. But you're right it would have been a big risk take him out of his typical downhill attack. Although with somebody like Robinson it probably wouldn't have been a bad idea, I'd rather see him try and throw or hand it off than take off running. Against Braxton if you play fundamentally sound you should always be in position, it's just trying to match his moves and athleticism that had us holding our jocks. Something we're all hoping is about to change.

And also in Suh's defense, if youre gonna go out of bounds, you dont tightrope the sidelines for 5 yards and expect not to get hit. Get your ass out! You should direct that to our QB as well.

Unfortunately this word is not in Bo's vocabulary. Maybe it hasnt been, but it might now now that he's got someone clearly capable to do so. I really believe that hasnt been the case the last couple years. Who woulda done it? Compton? Whaley? Stafford? Smith? There was a guy by the name of Lavonte 2 years ago that would have been pretty good at it... But yes last year we had enough trouble as it was.

Anybody else get the no huddle glitch where you call the play then try to audible and all your buttons become useless except for TO and pause? It's happened to me 3 or 4 times already.

I thought that about last year's defense. But that didn't happen really.. This year's defense, at least on paper, has more raw talent and potential. That said, I'm expecting medicority even as the season progresses. They'll have bright spots, but they'll also have consistency issues and get exposed by the better teams. Given the lack of depth and inexperience, though, I think that's to be expected. I'm expecting the defense this year to feel like our offense in 2010. Baring injuries there will be a lot of highs but equally as many growing pains.

I thought that about last year's defense. But that didn't happen really.. Baker going down doesn't help much. We may have still lost the CCG even with Baker, but it wouldn't have been nearly as embarrassing imo.

That's better than having to barely edge out an FCS team, because for some ungodly reason they can cover like white on rice and stop any run you throw at them. Oh and their QB can run like Vince Young.

I thought I was just pushing the hit stick the wrong way, because I caught myself doing it one time, but even when you use the button it happens. I know it's a broken record but EA Tiburon is so disappointing, any other developer would have had at least two patches out by now. The face masks should have been fixed before the damn game when out, and all the defensive issues defiantly shouldn't be taking 2 months.

She's also a vegetarian, so it can't be ruled out. Someone call Jack Bauer!
