  1. Aw come on did you translate that? It could just be one of the hundreds of miss translations in the book.
  2. i guess you didn't read the old testament i guess you didn't read the new testament It's all those pages after the old one.
  3. Not true, there will always be politicians. That is their job security.
  4. I don't know why, but this is what I always thought of when I saw those uni's.
  5. I always found here strangely attractive, but she acts like a bitch too much.
  6. I'm sure they wash them before the game.
  7. Who said that they have to be unemployed? If you read the article you probably saw the line that said " . . . it will be easy to replace the job that they were trying to give me." If they really were going to be cutting pay to $25,000 then you could definitely find a similar paying full time job at just about any major retail store. So odds are they won't be unemployed long.
  8. CEO's don't "give" themselves raises. The board does this. And your point is what? The CEO's salary is to blame for the bankruptcy? Not a union that rejected the court ordered restructuring? Even without Carl's post up there, it still begs the question why CEO's and executives are receiving raises when their companies are floundering and they're laying off workers or near liquidation? But his post just strengthens the argument, how is this possible and why does it keep happening?
  9. Funny face from Bo I captured off a video last week about him and the players. I'ma chop it up and have fun in the football forum with this one!
  10. I think there are two main reasons: 1) A lot of people put hundreds of hours into the COD games that by the time a whole year goes by, people are salivating to get a new addition. They have used the same weapons over and over on the same maps hundreds of times and by that time any change is a breath of fresh air. 2) You play Black Ops a lot. Then suddenly BO2 comes out. Now a couple of the guys you play online with have made the switch to BO2. Now you feel that to keep playing with them, you should get the new game too. I play BO a decent amount. it's the only FPS multiplayer I played for more than a couple of hours. I don't buy the new one every year, but I did like the first BO a lot, so I would hope that the sequel is even better. Your first point is what I'm talking about the games only change very, very minimally each time. Almost not even worth it. I bought the first two MW's but I loved the story lines in campaign more than multiplayer, and I will probably get MW3 when the price drops off, but mostly for the campaign. But multiplayer isn't worth it to me, it's just the same thing with a new face everytime. Takes no real skill, it's all about internet connections and run and gun tactics. I started playing Counter Strike again and remember why I love it in the first place, there's strategy, talent, and actual skill involved. It maybe an old game, but it's solid and something that you actually have to work at.

    so mad

I want Kansas... *runs and hides*
  12. Get over it, it's going to happen every year, every time, at ANY program. Driving home tonight and listening to a sports channel on XM some guy was bitching that CBS hates Alabama. I mean common, they pretty much are the SEC and CBS is the major provider of that conference. That's just as laughable as McGloin thinking the B1G has it in for Penn St.
  13. I'm not sure "score" is the right word... And you could argue that Denver's defense had more to do with the wins than Tebow. They basically kept the team alive in every game and he would just get lucky at the end.
  14. Guy the point of bringing up those other coaches is to show that it goes on all over the country in every major program, but only a select few are lambasted for it (i.e. Pelini and Tuberville, but apparently Pelini more so for some reason). You didn't see the clip and that's fine, but I consider myself a pretty straight shooter and a honest person. I love my Huskers but I try to keep everything in perspective so here's my take. Like I said before most of the crew, Herbstreit in particular, kept the discussion civil and well managed for not knowing all the facts. Corso kept his usual position he's expressed over the years that things should be handled behind close doors and you never yell at the kid, whatever. Fowler was just doing his usual hedging of the issue but Desmond just opened his mouth and let loose throwing all kinds of accusations and insinuation out there that had absolutely no grounding in reality. Most of his argument seemed to come from the incident in College Station and Pearlman's response. There was zero informed information from him from the past few years, and he went so far as to insinuated that Pelini was degrading players, ripping on families, and maybe physically abusing them and running a shady program as far as player treatment. I'm still a little hot about this, so maybe that's skewing my vision, but it was just blatantly bad analysis. He was just uninformed and throwing things to see if they would stick, it was something more appropriate for reality TV then sports commentary.
  15. I guess it is kind of news when Stewart and Colbert go back and point out the conflicting views/opinions/messages coming from Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, and any White House over the the past decade. But who else is going to cover the idiotic idiosyncrasies of news organizations and political parties? Certainly not themselves, because if they did an opposing network/party would call them out as bias, fraudulent, or unpatriotic and that would be the death knell for them.
  16. Now I wish they would have wrapped the club seats, skyboxes, and some upper deck around to North and South Stadium, similar to Soldier Field. Not on such a massive scale but something to draw the stadium together. Could have been really unique looking. But it may have been pushing a 100k capacity. Oh well, maybe in 2020!
  17. I know most people hate Kirk but the guy usually is decent in his analysis, at least he wasn't calling Pelini out and kept things civil on his end.
  18. The worst part of the whole piece, other than the insinuations that Bo personally attacks players, was that Brian Kelly has "changed" his sideline behavior. The guy wigs out more than Bo ever has and he still does it just as bad this year. Never mind that Bo is night and day with his behavior this year compared to 2,3,4, or 5 years ago. And never mind that many of his first recruits have come out and said exactly that. Howard is an idiot, someone more capable than I should make a Desmond's a tool facebook page. The guy seriously hasn't said a postive thing about Nebraska since the end of October... Butt hurt? I'm not sure he's even picked us since, not that I even care about their picks.
  19. You probably don't watch a lot of the Daily Show, but Stewart never claims to be in touch with the common man. He routinely comments that he's in the "1%" and only represents himself as a guy from Jersey and a New Yorker. Really the only people he claims to be in touch with are pot heads. He knows who he is more than O'Reilly, Hannity, BIitzer, or any other major cable news personality.
  20. Guess what, the Jets think Tebow sucks!!! Just when you thought Tebow mania was dieing out... https://www.google.c...iw=1024&bih=625
  21. You missing the point entirely, Bo bred a defense that worked in the league and it worked well. Without needing to adjusting to the style in this league we could be at a totally different level. And this offense has the potential to shred any Big XII defense. We could easily play with and beat 8 of the 10 members this year, in the end it could look exactly like our record at present. Kansas State and the Big XII are not that great. Look at their schedule, they are a product of the crappy preseason ranking and an easy schedule. Their one good win is Oklahoma, and we don't even know how good Oklahoma is because they lost to the only two "good" teams they played. We disagree, whatever, but the B1G and the Big XII are not that for off from each other. We aren't as bad as we think, and they aren't as good as people think they are. They just have a lot more offense and that's sexy to the public and voters.
  22. Ok, what's the story on Panico. I was probably too young to have a clue what was going on there.
  23. For the life of me I don't know why you people buy the same game 5 times, especially if all you do is multiplayer.
  24. This thing is such a cluster f#*k, I explained it in detail to my girlfriend and told her everything but the shirtless photos. She said hmm seems confusing I should read up on it, and I said good luck. Everything I told you is all that's out there and I'm confused as hell. Nobody would believe this if it was a Hollywood script.
