I agree.  So many offers, I don't know who we are really pursuing.  I have lost a little interest in recruiting bc I feel like this staff knows what they are doing.   

Sniper rifle method has gotten us in trouble in years past.  Putting all our eggs in for Foster Sarrell up in Washington and missing and struggling to find a solid plan b is just one example of sniper rifle method.  I think this staff has a really good group of recruits in the 500 mile area that they are focused on (Watts, Conn, Gunnerson, Morrison) but they are spreading the red around the country and trying to get into some places we have not been into for awhile.  Seeing Frost and Co. walk through the door means a little more than the message Riley and co. were selling.  Developing relationships with HS coaches across the nation and casting a large net will pay dividends for us in this class and in the future.  When we are a perennial top 15ish team we wont have to offer as many IMHO.  

I think the # of offers tells me a couple things.  Frost is still trying to get the Nebraska name and brand out there to top targets.  Frost and staff give the offers to kids with the goal of fostering relationships with the players, and gaining further knowledge about the player.
