  1. I am so pissed off still. I was irate all day yesterday.
  2. And most of it was of guys who suck, and weren't contributors.
  3. He is the worst. He ruined our lines.
  4. Maybe I have been drinking too much. But it just kills me to see this. I love this program and want players to have fun again. I envy my dad who can recall all the glory and I poured so much of my life into this program like the rest of you. I am physically detached from the state but it has always felt like an extended family and simply a source of passion in life where passion is hard to come by. I love Nebraska and today, for the first time, I turned the tv off and felt bothered. When I see a true freshman looking like a world beater, I know it’s about us and not them. This cannot be the fate of this program. We care too damn much. I just can’t believe we are here. I just can’t believe it.
  5. Time will reveal it. Either way, that performance was horrid. Our team gave up and I don’t understand how anyone can live like that.
  6. I am so pissed off still. I would kick so many players off the team. I would fire the line coaches immediately, and possibly Fisher too. You can tell that not only did players quit but so have some of the coaches, and they did well before this game. There was no pride being shown or used in this game. That OU team is not that good, and it makes it even more embarrassing to witness it. This season is a waste of time. I will not watch another game until next year. I see them losing out, and I just cannot waste that time anymore. I feel bad for Mickey. He has a complete dumsterfire on his hands. The streak should officially end. I don't care anymore. I trust Trev, but this product is agonizing. This is so pathetic to watch. These players have had their athletic careers ruined by being instructed and led by horrible coaches throughout the years. Scott should be damned for what he did to this program. On national effing television, a QB runs for a touchdown to tie the game, and the Nebraska Cornhuskers wilt right then and there, with three quarters left to play. These players can go with the coaches, and it pains me to say that because I am always pro players. But they wanted to leave after that score and I just can't wrap my head around it. This program is filled with soft and idiotic people working within its walls.
  7. These players have no pride. They are mentally soft and I have never seen it like this before. There are FCS programs who wouldn't allow this kind of play. The fact that they play this way knowing they are on tape, and on a national stage is pathetic. Right now, this is on the players.
  8. I would argue that they're not. They have quit, and this is the softest I have ever seen them. They are probably going to cry in the locker room.
  9. I had to turn it off. I can't watch it anymore. I think the players have sunken to a level of pathetic that nobody right now will get them out of.
  10. I am going to stick my neck out a little here. I think Trev has been working on something for months, and there are things guys on the current staff already know in terms of their future here at Nebraska. I think the coaches he wants have been vetted already and understand that they cannot bring their entire staff over and that we have guys in place for them, and they agreed to it. Joseph, Beckton, Applewhite (possibly Busch) are great recruiters and developers that any staff would love to have. No brainers if you will. If it is someone like Matt Campbell, I am sure he knows he cannot bring his entire staff, and having those three makes it even easier to transition over. I think it was chess all along. You're not going to let Fidone walk You're not going to let Ajay Allen leave You're not going to miss out on Omarion Miller, Barry Jackson, Jaydin Doss, and maybe Malachi Coleman and replace them with middle the pack WR recruits. These hires were never about Frost, and more so about the new guy and the future of Nebraska football, and I believe deep down, Frost knew it too. And if anyone mentions coach Raoila, well it didn't matter. Trev is going to hire a guy who can coach the lines, and so that hire was more disposable.
  11. Speaks volumes on the future of Nebraska football, and how this staff shakes out going forward.
  12. I have to admit, I am enjoying reading all the rumors and things coming out. It is very entertaining, and I believe most is true. However, what screams out to me in all this is that we can make serious improvements and rather quickly, with a competent HC and staff. That is exciting.
  13. If you're going to do this, you have to include Beckton. He might be the best of the bunch.
  14. I wasn't trying to be cryptic or anything like that. I am just saying that it's beyond thinking he will be gone. He is for sure done, and that is known now. But you're probably right that it will be official on 10/1.
  15. You can say it with your chest now. It's been done but this opened the door for everyone to see, and possibly has sped up the process.
  16. It's a soft o-line that is dead in the water. He wasn't going to fix those guys. So many of those lineman shouldn't play anymore.
  17. Someone who is organized, professional, and proven. Trev wants innovative thinkers with a mindfulness on how to conduct themselves and each phase of their football team. He wants a set structure where things can be clearly addressed if it goes wrong before it gets to game one. Essentially a proven road map that Trev can follow along with. I think he will prioritize great teaching over great recruiting. I think he understands that Nebraska will be fine talent wise no matter who the coach is. Fine in terms of being competitive. Trev is a very passionate guy, and I think over the years he figured out that there is nothing wrong with passion, so long as you don't let it bite you at inopportune times. He seems to have channeled it into his work, and he has had to make tough decisions before. I think that's the kind of profile of person he will go for.
  18. zero evidence? Iowa 21 is a great example. Folding doesn't necessarily mean getting blown out, but you can see when that sideline is in their feels, and it's happening all over again. You know what the issue is with the close part? They've been close because they actually have good players, who at any moment can go make a play. The issue? They are not developed or well instructed on how to operate when those things aren't happening. That's the lack of consistency that hurts this program. Some positions get developed, others don't. Some positions stockpile talent, other's don't. Pure hodge-podge.
  19. @MavricI would also say that the first game of the year is null. This is measured against a collection of four seasons where the issues that plagued those years revealed its ugly head. Nebraska finds ways to lose, and the team folds quickly. That is the identity of the program and it happened against NW, and to those players detriment, it started with the head man.
