Yes same highschool. This school was a powerhouse in its history and is now really coming on again. Look for DONU to come in here more in the future.

They seem to know the game. Recruiting starts earlier now as the number of early commits grows. Huskers have been showing a great game plan with the smaller but elite Junior Day (plus BRW). These coaches get at recruiting hard, boasting an elite recruiting class that expands coast-to-coast this year (blowing up their budget from last year). 2014 recruiting could be just as great. I said this a few weeks ago. The last few years, NU has had a serious infusion of talent, there is momentum in that infusion and we are definitely developing ace recruiters. Inexperience might be our only downside when it comes to our staff, but their youth is paying dividends with recruiting. Lets be real, guys like Stanton, Taylor, Maurice, Love, Dixon, Mixon, Collins, Kondolo, Suttles, and Johnson couldve been ranked much higher in the recruiting world then all of the sudden instead of 10 on scout, we're 5 or 6. Instead of 17 on Rivals we would be 10-12. Coaches, including Bo, are starting to really come into their own in recruiting and I only see it going up.

I'm very excited about what Hannon will do. I feel that he can step right in after a redshirt year and be a 3-4 year starter.

I think it's going to come down to how next year progresses in college football. USC is becoming a third/fourth option in the pac12 for some players. Obviously the flavor of the week is UCLA and ND does well on getting elite talent from CA. These are definitely players Nebraska will come after. Serra's coach loves Nebraska and likes how they handled Brown's recruiting. (Brown was an elite talent but transferred from different schools and tape was delayed. Caused many to lose interest but Nebraska stuck with him and Serra's staff fell in love with NU.)

Nebraska did not have the benefit of seeing Afalava at his best. He had lost some weight when he got there and it took time to get his feet wet. A year of conditioning and comfort will do wonders. He looked to be the best LB prospect last year. What a terrific problem we have.

He won't have a choice! if he commits, he has to sign right after haha. (I'm aware that kids technically don't have to sign on NSD)

Mike mochetti (former buff) is close with Rich Fisher. LM has been putting out a lot of legit talent as of late and it keeps getting better.

If we decide to implement some 3-4 then I can see these Lb's really getting utilized. It would be amazing if we can sub and mix the LBs so we could confuse the offense. All of them have pass rushing ability and you could disguise blitzes with all that speed. I would take some of Satan's "exotic" packages and reak havoc with all that speed.
