Marsh has skills. No question that UNK will be better. I always saw Marsh making noise at a school like Northwest Missouri State. MIAA is a tough conference. Good luck man.

If we raised Beck's salary, which I happen to agree with, because people came knocking, then shouldn't Paps be getting a pay cut? Doubtful anyone is calling for his services.

Not that this makes him a guru, but he did play safety at Stanford as well as safety in the NFL. From a playing standpoint, he's pretty well rounded playing both safety in college as well as QB and safety in the NFL. I'm not really sure how he ever became a WR coach. I have no doubt he'll be a head coach someday, but I highly doubt it's ever here. What's the over/under on the amount of years Chip Kelly makes it in the NFL? Frost actually got his coaching start on the Defensive side of the ball. He was even the DC at UNI before Kelly hired him to coach WRs. Pelini gets torn up on the board for hiring people with no experience. Scott Frost get a pass because he played at Wood River.

Unless Scott Frost is some kind of defensive wizard I don't get why we need him. I'm pretty sure he isn't a guru on the D side.

This might be the worst OP I have seen in a while. With all of the losses, there are a ton choose from. Congrats.

Both defenses seem to have the ability to pick off the fluttering long ball.

I think the safety play this year has been as bad as the LB/DL. How they get a pass is beyond me. The inconsistency around tackling and helping over the top has been a nightmare.

I actually thought the D gameplan was pretty decent. They played over there head for most of the game. They finally got exposed for there lack of athleticism. They tried to attack and it worked for a while. Bo needs to get some athletes on D and all will be fine.

There are 100K public schools in America. It goes to 130K when you add private. I'm not by any means trying to minimize these tragedies, but I don't see how they could be that much more common than the court house, police station, military base example you already provided from a statistical standpoint.

You could have stopped there. You figure out who is going to pay for it then you can toss out the idea.

No. If I've learned one thing over the past few years it's that the government does not and can not create jobs. This is no exception. The govmint can create all the jobs they want, they just need to figure out who is going to pay for it. I take that back...they don't have to figure out who is going to pay for it.

So we pay $20K, which is a real low number, to post a military member at the 100K public schools in America. That's only $2 Billion. Makes sense. I think Millard South had atleast one armed guard on their campus.
