Ya I think our o-line has a lot to do with it also. Hopefully we get more production out of them this season, because last season was terrible.

I know we are looking for a spread happy offense (which I don't mind), but why can't we implement some I-Form and Pro Sets? I think going under center would be a strength for Burkhead and Legate. I just hope Beck doesn't sit in shotgun 95% of the game because we have seen how that usually fairs when we get inside the red zone. Has anyone heard anything credible where they think we will do this?

The later the game the better.

Also cant help but be impressed by Carnes and Turner in the video.

Our depth is ridiculous on the D Line. We NEED to recruit LBs in my mind for this years recruiting.

Can never have too many D Lineman. Sick talent up front.

Doesn't have the skill set to start for Nebraska.

Great decision to move him from LB to DE. High motor guy who doesn't need to think a whole lot at this position.

Hopefully they do something like they did with Bama.

A lot of the same sets, but with better play calling and execution.

Brion Carnes

Prediction: Martinez gets 'hurt' Carnes comes in and plays well. Taylor then switches to a role like Jamal Turners for the next season...I hope I am completely wrong, but I see this happening.

If the O-line cant produce I'm giving Cotton the double dueces.

1)Did he commit? 2)Would he be considered a sophomore? 3)When would he be on campus if he did commit?

Offensive line is also a concern when talking about depth. Lots of young unproven talent.

The line didnt play too well, but you have a lot of guys learning the plays and not having a lot of time to mesh together as a unit. I think our starting o-line will be good to go for the opener though.

I think that for kickoff and punt returns people didn't want to go balls to the walls like you need to. It is just a spring game and a lot of times people get laid out. Kind of like practice this happens a lot. Not to mention that Turner is a burner though.

People already know Rex is a beast. The spring game is mainly for kids who haven't seen the field yet. This is what gets people excited. Its the new ones who we want to see. Too bad that not even one of Green, Abdullah, or Heard were here to play.

Brion is just a better QB -plain and simple- I get that Martinez is really fast but he cant throw. Carnes undoubtedly has a better arm and he started all 4 years in a solid HS in Florida. I said Martinez should start initially, but if he gets hurt or doesn't do well he should have a role very similar to Jamal Turner's.

LB Is real sketchy to me. After David, Compton, and Fisher we don't have a whole lot besides Whaley. I think Santos will get a redshirt, but wouldn't be surprised if Bo decides not to give him one. WR We obviously don't have experience, but I feel we have a lot of talent and depth here. Kinnie, Turner, Bell, SJB, Enunwa, Osborne and Hyland. RB Again no experience but the 3 freshman we bring in are dynamite. Rex will do his thing and Kidlow has a slight chance to see the field.
