This is a pretty good summary and reflects my thoughts. I’d rather not have the fear of a dictatorship, but the insanity increases the chances of them losing elections.

I think Trump gaining voters is far less relevant than Biden bleeding voters. These people probably won’t vote for Trump, but they won’t vote for Biden either. E.g. people who thought Biden would be able to get their loans forgiven, 18 year olds who are sad about Gaza but not about Israel, etc.

I don't understand your logic in thinking Ryan Day would win 4 NC out of 5. His player talent would only increase minimally. OSU typically recruits in the top 5 and he hasn't done it yet. It's possible he'd do slightly better at Alabama, but I don't think slightly better would mean winning the NC almost every year.

I don't really know who I want to win. I don't hate either team. This is so much better than having to figure out who I want to win between Alabama and Texas. Maybe 51% Michigan 49% Washington. But I hated the idea of Michigan blowing them out. I want it to be a 1 score game.

Ya, in case anyone wasn't aware, the guy they're saying who got killed is the 3rd most powerful person in the Russian military, behind Putin and Shoigu. The head of Putin's favorite newspaper was found dead recently too, also young. Are these Putin's doing because their reporting fell out of favor, or his Russian enemies' doing?

No idea, I was just reading the gap had gotten bigger post-pandemic. The gain from getting into the U.S. from South America is bigger now.

There is a very strong correlation between job openings and border encounters, and post pandemic there is a much bigger gap between wages in the source country and the U.S.

We aren't 10 years from now. Why don't you ask in 10 years? You're assuming we're going to continue having lots of losing seasons. You should have asked this as a prediction; i.e. will we still be considered a blue blood in 10 years if *this* happens. Michigan is as far removed from a national championship as we are, and started competing for them again 2 years ago. We have 1 more conference championship than they have and more than that unshared. We have 4 more national championships than they have in the past 55 years.

Based on a quick glance, there are only 8 teams that have done that since 1970. It's unlikely he's talking about multiple championships in a short span. A normal person talking about this would probably mean win a national championship and vie for conference championships regularly.
