  1. Macaulay Culkin has a podcast and he interviewed John Candy's daughter (I just watched Uncle Buck again).
  2. Let's figure out how to add drama so our coaches and husker gear can still be in national ads weeks after losing 8 of our last 9 games.
  3. My mom voted all Republican until 2004 and voted for John Kerry, not a great candidate, because she didn't like Bush anymore. And now gradually over time she has started to vote for more and more Democrats. In 2000 she was 53. That said, I don't think many Trump voters in 2020 would change their vote over anything that has happened since.
  4. Assuming the U.S. doesn't lose its form of government to dictatorship, it's unlikely one party holds power that long. If the Republicans hold the presidency and the Senate for 8-12 years, people will realize it didn't make things much better (and probably a lot worse), and then they will vote them out. Some of the currently conservative states will swing to moderate, and moderate states to left. Whoever is in charge gets judged, even for things that aren't really their fault. The electoral college is currently unfavorable to Democrats, so they need to work on changing people's minds. They should have been working harder on that the past 30 years, and now they have a big hole to dig themselves out of.
  5. How does he have time to film things like this when he's in control of the country, pulling Biden's strings?
  6. Sometimes I wish I was dumb enough to be that confident in my ignorance/stupidity. But not this version of it. She's angry and wants Biden to be hung. I don't want to be angry dumb.
  7. The people who don't do this before the cleaners come must be weird neat freaks. I don't want the lady to know how many times I got take out and then proceeded to not throw anything away.
  8. I said pick stuff up. Pretty sure that's what most people do. The cleaning people do the scrubbing and vacuuming and dusting, not pick up stuff you left laying around in random places since the last time they were at the house. I think only housekeepers do that kind of work, unless you want to pay a cleaning person a crapton of $.
  9. Ya, he was Dylan's backup. I kinda doubt he'll be at Buford next year.
  10. I hire a lady to clean once a month, which forces us to pick crap up. And that's almost the only time we do that. We don't have kids though.
  11. Good. Also, hopefully he's got his 1 year old twins some training footballs so after we win a couple national championships with Raiola, then get cursed again, they can bring us back to glory in 2040.
  12. This topic is ancient, but I couldn't remember where this type of thing was being discussed before. I think Nyad makes her argument fairly well.
  13. In Rhule's press conference he said Dylan called him last Sunday and said he wanted to give Nebraska another look. He definitely made it sound like Raiola initiated it. Then later on he said he doesn't usually recruit players after they sign with someone else.
  14. I think Rhule just got bored and decided to break down all the recruiting classes
  15. I think she is just a monster. She got rid of all the homemade stuff (or it's stuffed in a dark corner in the basement) and replaced with all these matching ornaments she bought from a store like some creep.
  16. You're a weird thing to complain about!
  17. Well, it happened constantly. People said the offense was too inconsistent.
  18. Do you guys remember when we used to argue about whether it was good or bad that Nebraska scored fast when Taylor Martinez was the QB? I hope we can argue about that again soon.
  19. I would add, as much as money does buy championships (or helps to get them), that has always been the case with college football. It was just less direct. The teams with money had more and better facilities, food, clothing, tutoring, etc., that they could offer the players. The programs with $ did everything they could except give the players cash. Cash is a step up from that, but it's not like the playing field was even. And in fact, I would say in college football things were more lopsided than in the NFL. It just didn't involve player salaries.
