  3. Rather than a personal attack, or name calling, the ignore function can allegedly be your friend. Or you could just not be a jerk who posts the same crap over and over (and over). Also, ignore's practically useless since you can still see the person's posts that are quoted.
  4. Good news for you champ. He's gone. You're right. I have no idea why I felt like I had to jump in and remind folks why we won't miss him. Wait a minute. It's coming back to me..... Riley has been a head coach twice as long as Pelini at the collegiate level......and has the same number of conference championships. If that's not exciting news..........at least the press conferences will be more friendly. If that's your thing. You are such a douschenozzle.

It was about Morrain's claim Mexicans are starving because we ruined their corn production. It doesn't seem like you read my post, at all. I didn't say anything about Mexicans starving. I posted an article about how NAFTA had a devastating impact on their corn industry. It wasn't a claim, it's a fact. Well, one of the main reasons people are starving is that their land has been stolen from them--for one reason or the other, often big agribusiness--hence, they are 'refugeed'. Continually getting bombed in imperialistic wars doesn't help either, no doesn't help at all. Other than that, it's a matter of manufactured scarcity, poor distribution, and profit motive, keeping people from having food. Wha???? What does that have to do with beef production? The question was: "are people starving because we produce beef?" I'm basically saying, no, people are starving because of the reasons I listed. Take Mexico, Central, and S. America, for e.g., the U.S and other imperialists have taken a shitton of their land over the last 75 years or so. Why do you think they immigrate here? Look at the history of United Fruit, and go from there. Wut? So people in Mexico are starving because America took their land?? First, I think Mexico and the central/south American countries have plenty of food to feed their population. But their corrupt gov'ts and economic systems don't distribute it efficiently and fairly. As for us taking land, the state of Texas (which I suspect you're talking about) was part of Spain since before the American revolution. Then Mexico, including Texas, broke off from Spain. And then Texas broke off from Mexico just a few years later. But really, as far as I'm concerned Mexico can have Texas back if it would make them feel better. So long as we get to keep those yummy Texas cattle. I don't know much about the land stuff, but NAFTA basically destroyed Mexico's corn industry. They could import American corn because it was a lot cheaper (partially because it was/is subsidized).   12. It's easy to beat the drum and wrangle out some dollars from people hating on gays. It's not easy to do so hating on shrimp, bacon, mixing meat and dairy, mixing fabrics, or mixing crops on the same plot of land. Out of all of the low hanging fruit that you could choose as far as actual sins that Christians do commit, greed, gluttony, adultery, etc. you choose to go after non-sinful nonsensical examples. Why? The things he listed are in the same area of the bible as the not being gay stuff. So he was obviously listing them to show how ridiculous it is to get in an uproar over people being gay. It's as stupid as it would be to make a big deal out of people doing the things he listed. They're things we should not be taking literally now. My personal favorite is that according to the bible it's an abomination to wear clothes of the other gender. So, basically, any woman who wears pants is committing an abominable sin. A sin just as bad as having sex with another woman. Any bible-thumping woman who wears pants has no right to call out gay people.
  13. So, speaking of taking care of details and winning, Riley's record the past 5 seasons was 29-33. Can we ban broken records? At least until midway through the season? This same sh#t is said over and over by this poster. It's just spam now.

  15. I'm happy about it but I can't say it's due to any actual evidence of anything. The problem is everything you hear about the ACA seems biased in one direction or the other. It's either great if you're a democrat or the end of the world if you're a republican. It's been a positive thing for me personally and 3 of my mom's employees can now get health insurance when they couldn't before because they were too sick (lol). But that's anecdotal. I do think all the talk of repealing it (or this attempt to undermine it) is just petty political BS so I kind of wanted this upheld for that reason alone. I loathe the current state we're in where if it's a democrat idea it's automatically voted against by republicans, and vice versa.

Many references written after the recent tragic events, trying to draw off emotions and not use rational thinking. The media needs racial divide and terrorist acts like what happened in South Carolina to survive and promoting garbage like some of the links above, prove that exact point. Way to ignore the nps.gov and history.com links, and the sources listed on the wikipedia links. Racial divide exists whether the media reports on it or not. I'm not sure wtf is up with this new platform of claiming that it doesn't exist and is made up. It only seems exaggerated to people who don't have to deal with it.

  18. I have never tried floor presses...I have been doing a lot of pause work when it comes to bench and squat. On bench, I would set my safety bars where they are an inch above my chest. I would then proceed to start benching and would lower the bar till it rested on the safety bars, count a 3 Mississippi and then press back up. It's an ass kicker. I do the same for squats. What's the purpose of the floor press (over doing other chest exercises)? It's all I did before I got a bench (but didn't realize it had a name until now). I always assumed I was missing out on range of motion and thought that was bad, so I stopped doing them.
  19. I think I did personal best tricep extensions and skullcrushers today. 42.5 pounds with a curlbar. I know I've had 10 pound plates on it for them before but I don't know how much heavier I got. I'll just have to add 6.25 more pounds to each side and then I'll know I've beaten it. That should only take me about... 6 weeks.

  22. He's coached lots of games. but, how many of them have been at Nebraska? Does it say in the article that it's a ranking of coaches based on their performance at their current schools? It's just ranking active coaches. If it was the former you'd have to leave off Harbough and any other coach that changed schools. Now, if it turns out that last year Riley was ranked 80, then maybe it's silly. Sorry, I apologize for my lack of enthusiasm... You don't have to be enthusiastic about him. I just don't agree with your logic about the poll
