  1. It's so slow I got up to tinkle during the second to last at-bat with no fear of missing anything important.
  2. Who wants waffles!! Dib: Deep down I'm bologna? Zim: Yes. Dib: That's just dumb. Zim: Dumb like a moose, Dib. DUMB LIKE A MOOSE. If you like Firefly too I dunno what I'll do.
  3. I laugh every time someone on here says Boulder sucks. There's more to life than football (barely). I'm not saying people aren't allowed their opinions but it's so prevalent here that it's obviously because they hate the Buffaloes and not because Boulder isn't awesome.
  4. Most of his issues are caused by his seeming need to make a great play on every single down. That's why he makes some bad throws, that's why he throws bad pitches at the last second. He needs to realize that it's okay if they lose a yard or two, and that it's okay if he throws the ball out of bounds. I do feel like he's been better at it lately, but the Minnesota game there were quite a few ugly plays. But maybe he was just thinking "It's Minnesota and we have a comfortable lead, so I'll try to make something out of nothing because it won't matter."
  5. I also like 11am start times. That way I don't have to be excited for the game to start. I just wake up and there it is. (But, that's when I'm watching it on TV).
  6. The way they beat Wisconsin is a big advantage for Nebraska. They're on top of the world and emotionally drained and Nebraska got destroyed by Wisconsin, so it will be hard for them to take the game seriously.
  7. I still remember Damon Benning wearing pants that had no laces up the front when everyone else had them. My 12 year old self had interesting priorities.
  8. There are almost always losses for teams that will "assuredly make it through"
  9. What does that have to do with anything? Burkhead says he watches him play. He didn't say he wants to be like him off the field.
  10. haha. That letter is great. I think they needed to offer it to more than two students to make it stop though.
  11. Touch. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means. (The dropped "touches" must not have been factored into the average).
  12. I'm okay with keeping Oklahoma on there. Who would be a better choice at this point?
  13. haha. Ya, that's the exact announcer I was thinking of. (Probably the only female football announcer)
  14. that kid in the yellow got out of there fast
  15. I just don't get it. What's the point in having a woman announcer if you can't tell she's a woman? Let someone with a normal female voice announce the game. I'm not saying I want to hear a valley girl accent, but what are the networks thinking with this? Do they think men would be put off by a womanly voice? This occurs in every single sport. Even if it's volleyball or women's soccer. A woman doesn't have to have a manly voice to be smart or sound smart. (I realize I'm going to get some silly replies . Just to pre-empt one of them, I'll go back to the kitchen now, but I'm going to use expired bologna and you will die)
  16. It continues to boggle my mind that so many people think Robinson is great and Martinez is mediocre. They have virtually identical stats.
  17. Wait... how is that guiltless? I was confused about cheese being healthy so I went to their website and the cheese runza is more calories than the original (The whole meal is 960 without ranch). But maybe that has nothing to do with what you were trying to say. You obviously haven't eaten corn on the cob while in California
  18. Yes, you are. This is the first time they've played well against a good defense. And the posts in this topic are saying that it's improved, promising, etc.
  19. I think we'll win all but one of the remaining regular season games. I'm not going to pick which. I think we can beat Wisconsin if we make it to the CCG. I actually felt that way before the Ohio State game. It will be really hard for Wisconsin to get pumped up to play a team they already annihilated, and Nebraska has much more room to improve than Wisconsin does.
  20. Fixed that for you. I don't think students should be relegated to a corner of the stadium, but on the scale of things I care about when it comes to Nebraska athletics, it's pretty low on the list. We know where the seats are when we buy the tickets.
