  1. Not worried. They're making fun of the state not the team.
  2. Yeah, we're cocky and those guys are representative of the whole team. How many of those guys tweeting will start or even have an impact on the game?
  3. Per knapplc, when do you think Bo will hand out the blackshirts?
  4. No, if we wear all white...we lose, hands down
  5. Oh yeah, Bo's defensive genius has yet to be put on display. And quite frankly, why should it? With the way our offense is playing, we could give up 38 and win by 13. When we play Wisconsin, we won't need 51 points to win the game. Something like 27 would be good enough to win.
  6. http://espn.go.com/c...ner-report-says NU cries for that, we're crybabies, OU cries for that=this. Glad we're in the B1G
  7. While this is clearly photoshopped...i kinda like the look.
  8. Na, Taylor just needs to improve at what he's doing; which he has been. Quincy is a beast and will only become better at the WR position. Our WRs could prove to be bigger weapons this year than what was expected of them. However epoc, I'm going to have to disagree with you, Ameer is hands down my favorite player on the team.
  9. Knowing Bo, I don't think the team will. We have the potential to be very good this year, much as we've had the chance to be very good the past 3 years...only to wind up not achieving our goals. They [the team] are hungry and there won't be many things stopping them this year.
  10. A win over Nebraska would give the Cowboys an inside track towards the BCS National Championship Game.
  11. Yeah, it's kinda resembling last season when Texas was circled on our calender. Of course that's not how the team perceived it but it's how the fan base perceived it. I think we've learned from last year's mistake. Guarantee we don't come out flat against Wisconsin. Can't wait to watch that game!
  12. Stay delusional? Pot, meet kettle. You're delusional if you don't believe the no holding calls on your O-line wouldn't have made an impact on the game.
  13. I've decided not to make fun of your grammar. That would be lame. Yeah, some education they get in Washington
  14. Our defense was bad no doubt. But it should have been 24-17 Washington at the half instead of 20-17 Nebraska. 10 point swing and huge change in momentum not to mention amazing field position that they never should of had because we took your botched punt back to the house. Game would've gone down to the wire without that bad calls and the 2 other phantom calls in the 2nd half on us. BTW, you can't advance a muffed punt
  15. You weren't going to score the TD...you would've gotten a FG. It could've been 20-17 Washington...in which case we still get you to go 3 and out...drive down the field and score. Bishop-Sanke (sp?) goes on to fumble the next kickoff, we recover and score again. Then we're up 31-20. We still win the game.
  16. Crow, eat it. I wonder what your D Coordinator did to immediately cause that penalty. I mean, it takes Bo at least 15 minutes to draw a penalty, it took your guy 1 second. And you're talking about anger management. Listen, bad calls went both ways. Those kick catch interferences were both bad calls. But there was hardly a Washington play on offense where Crick, Meredith, Baker, or TMoore weren't getting held. And BTW, that 70 yard punt by Maher, got called back because of holding on the kicking team. When have you seen something like that? You lost, and scored a lot of points when Nebraska packed it in...even Bo acknowledged that. The game really should have finished 44-17 or 51-24. Either way you lost by 27. Not the 13 that you'll "claim" made it close enough to be screwed by the refs. Your "dominant" run defense allowed 309 yards of rushing. You stacked the box, and Taylor and our WRs burnt your coverage.
  17. I'm pretty sure the crowd was loud when we were in a dogfight with Fresno State. Memorial Stadium knows when it's time to get loud. When we're winning by 37 we're not going to be loud. When we're losing by 37, we're not going to be loud (because most stadiums aren't loud if there team is getting stomped). But if it's a dogfight, fans know that they can help and they get loud...I don't think people give enough credit to the majority of the fans in Memorial Stadium.
  18. I think that's the opposite of what is good. The idea is to make the opposing QB want the crowd to quiet down. It means the crowd was excited and was jacked up...not a bad thing, certainly a good thing. And the opposing QB isn't going to literally show him wanting fans to be quiet
  19. Yeah, I like the way Price handles himself. He will be a great QB for the Huskies.
  20. I personally don't like the Can't Be Beat, Won't Be Beat chant, I like the Husker Power chant as that currently gets EVERYONE in the stadium going. The chant can stay, and maybe it will grow but if we want to be loud and sound intimidating all we have to do is the Husker Power chant. Hell, all South Carolina fans do is scream...all Mississippi State fans do is ring cowbells...there isn't anything wrong with the status quo if it works. As for the stadium on Saturday, I noticed on multiple occasions the section in the south stadium immediately to the left of the far left student seating stood up and got loud when the team needed it. And honestly, that's what most of the non-student fans are going to do. The students will make the noise, the rest of the crowd will support them when they really need it. Would I like it to be louder? Absolutely. But the stadium noise was great on Saturday in my opinion
  21. About the only teams from the Big 8 I would like to see in the B1G would be Oklahoma and maybe Kansas. The only team making the conference better would be OU in football and KU in basketball...but neither in both.
