A team that could compliment the addition of Texas A&M in the West could be the addition of Virginia Tech in the East. It adds a completely new TV market, as Georgia Tech has Georgia, Clemson has South Carolina, and Florida State has Florida. Plus, Virginia Tech is a competitive team, Clemson, Ga Tech aren't. Using my 1st reason (TV Market), Virginia Tech seems like the best possible candidate to me.

Thanks for the welcome, NU certainly does have the means necessary to make a run every year. I think that with this being the first year in a new conference with what looks like an insanely difficult schedule, I'm toning back my expectations for a MNC. Maybe a Big Ten Championship and a BCS Bowl, but certainly not a MNC. 2013, when we have experience and an easier schedule, that year could be magical.

I find it bizarre how tOSU got off with less, but these explanations cleared up my questions. It seems that tOSU was more compliant and had less severe problems than what was initially suggested and less problems than USC had overall. Thanks for the clarification.

If OU and aTm manage to leave the Longhorn Conference, then you might see them add Clemson and another eastern team to make a 16 team conference. I'm sure the Pac 12 and B1G would catch onto the idea and add teams of their own. B1G probably adding Missouri, ND, West Virginia, and Pittsburgh. Don't know who the Pac 12 would add besides Boise State

Apparently people over at the Operation Sports Forum have found a solution to the Super LBs. Because of the ability to edit rosters, before you play each team lower the LB Jumping ability by 40. Should work like a charm. Thats a lot of teams to edit Forgot to clarify, just edit your LBs and then the team you play before you play them.
