I think I'm one of the few that considers Iowa a rival already. I hate those guys. I dislike Wisconsin, but hate Iowa to the point I will consider this season a "mild" success if we beat them. I would consider the season a "mild" success if we went 1-11 and that one win was over Iowa, mainly because of the people I know.

I own Georgia Tech and U of Montana sweatshirts and a few U of Tennessee items. I have never attended a game of any of those schools. lol I did want to buy a UCF sweatshirt a couple years ago.

Not just this game but the last several years. Our defenders dive too much at ball carriers. It is frustrating. One more step by the defender and it would be a solid tackle. Instead we dive. Moving your feet is a fundamental in many sports. We are severely lacking in that fundamental.

I don't understand putting POB in there. We needed to come out on fire.

If anyone cares it looks like we are sitting behind five 5-win teams in APR, and several 4-win teams that could get to 5 wins. Doesn't look like we have a chance to squeak in as a 5 win team this year. Interestingly enough, Minnesota is sitting at APR #3 of the not-yet-bowl eligible teams. They would need to beat us, Northwestern, or Wisconsin to get to 5 wins.

It's based on academic performance if there are not enough 6-win teams to fill the bowl slots.

Alabama had 10 seasons between Stallings and Saban. Oklahoma had 10 seasons between Switzer and Stoops. We are at 14 seasons since Solich. Things could get tougher if we have another coach only last 3-4 years. I agree with lo country. We have almost been dormant for too long. I think that's a vote for Frost. I think he might be our best shot at longevity and stability.
