  1. Supposedly the story goes he was a 3rd-4th round grade, and that was his max if he stayed in the FCS. He thinks he's better than that, and can play his way into a higher round with a solid year in the P5. And we have a coaching staff that, despite on the field results, clearly sells well. So, here he is.
  2. If we get Dickerson, 3 of the 50 state players of the year... I'll take it lol.
  3. You joke, but that's almost exactly what he did for the last 3 years with Riley's kids. Now they're gone, he can't make the excuse anymore, and I think he's learned that's a good way to piss kids off.
  4. What a sad pipedream... you can do it, don't do it to yourself, don't get your hopes up, don't get your hopes up, don't get your hopes up...
  5. But he's too short, we can't do it.
  6. Wandale weighs about 20lbs more than Devonta Smith. FWIW. And ESPN lists Wandale at 5'10". I did not compare the two receiver, I was responding to the comment we should only pursue WRs who are 6'0" or taller and 200lb+ frames.
  7. I hate to break it to you... but Devonta Smith is barely over 6'0" and much lighter than 200lbs. He's okay at playing wide receiver.
  8. Just seeing this, so I can LOL a little. Funny how we're dragging Frost for his WRs... look at that RB room. If it wasn't for Frost turning Ozigbo around... oof.
  9. I was a big fan of UCF in Frost's final season, and I watched most of those games. It is fun to see how Nebraska's defense is slowly (but surely) approaching the defense Chins was running in 2017. They loved to bring pressure, almost to the point Chins was criticized for leaving the defense vulnerable too often. From what I'm seeing at Nebraska, he's getting there - it's coming.
  10. Jeez Fidone you lying on the roster? Shorty
  11. Just based on film, I'm not understanding why Mauga isn't playing outside. Dude flies. I was surprised to not see him this year, just based on athleticism.
  12. Yes, CFB will be back on as planned by August.
  13. The announcers who are commentating the same games lovveeee talking about how the B1G had a really down year. While we s#!t kick everyone they put on the field with us lol.
  14. THIS IS NOT A COVID THREAD But they've said vaccines should be fully available to the general public by April, so the May 1 date seems strategic. I like it.
  15. I bet you think we win 9 games next year too
  16. LMFAO. Imagine going back to yourself in 2016, and telling yourself that we'd be celebrating because we play Buffalo next year and we're really glad they are losing some offensive firepower so we feel good about winning it.
  17. Nice stuff (as usual), Mav. I'm pretty sure Gaylord already said he won't be back, FWIW. Edit - I guess, it isn't explicit... but tweeted his thanks to Pelini for recruiting him and Frost for coaching him, said it is an honor to say he played here... and then RT'ed his brother who tweeted "today you hang up #65" at him before the Rutgers game.
  18. Cannot accept an academic scholly if he plays, but yes, I assume he'd be just fine at Nebraska comparatively
  19. I really hope Keith Duncan comes back at Iowa. I'd write something s#!tty about him but I know he reads these to stroke his ego.
  20. Sam, late to the beat here - he could have just read Mav's post
  21. I know it moves fast, but usually the national guys are in on this kind of thing. The fact that we haven't heard anything/seen a CB flip means I'm still feeling pretty good.
