Just depends on the turn overs in a nutshell and how many points the offense gives up or puts the defense in bad positions.

Yeah I have not got that far down as of yet with Iowa,but it is possible. 2 or 3 turnovers and it could happen. OOh wait the Offense does that on a regular basis. I am not bashing Martinez Either. Notice I said Offense.

Certainly Michigan and Northwestern are problematic (but still winnable IF we play fundamentally), but no way Sparty (3 home losses already) beats us UNLESS NW and Michigan losses have us in such a funk we have punted the season...... Is Nebraska stopping the run against MSU?

I am one of the biggest Kool aid drinkers for Nebraska. I have taken them off and will look at it from a neutral standpoint right now. 3-3 maybe 4-2. I have no real reason to think differently. Nebraksa has a power offense,but tends to turn it over to many times. Defense show up for awhile then goes away. Michigan, North western and I will say MSU beats Nebraska.

I gotta tell ya. I think this guy is pulling your leg. If there's one thing this athletic department isn't hurting for, it's cash. Hendricks Center. East Stadium. Haymarket Arena. Impending Bob renovation. Hiring of new coaches & ADs. It's not like we're short on funds, and need to make deals with the devil (or boosters - same thing) for the cash. That would mean my guy lied to me then. I am having to go with Knapp on this one. There would be no way my guy would not know about 50 million and wanting Pellini out.

You do really bring up a good point and I am not a guy calling for Pelinis head. Think back to last year also. They had to come storming back against Ohio St. And we did have a big win last year. MSU, Which turned out pretty good. Granted the game was boring and I fell asleep during part of it/lol.

You also have to remember Tom played for a few national titles in the 80s also. Miami, Lost to Penn st on the famous out of bounds play, Clemson. Those are the 3 I can remember. So Tom had them there and in postion. Games just did not work out. I think there was another one in the 80s also? I might be wrong on that. This^^^ Whether your guy has any inside info or not, there is no way the new AD pulls the plug on Bo in his first year unless things REALLY go in the tank. Those dreaming for a new coach this year are really wishful thinkers...very slim chance it happens. That said, Bo's long term job security (anything past this year) got shorter when TO retired. Again, even if none of the rumors are true, it stands to reason that just simply based on the fact that Bo was Tom's guy, he had more security with him than he will with Eichorst, who very well may want his own guy. Pretty simple deductive reasoning and just happens to be in line with a lot of rumors that are flying around out there. Here how the conversation went. I was really curious as to how Big time boosters felt. Me " Hey, is Bo in trouble?" Him " No,he is good." Me " What about New Ad coming in?" According to who I talked to yesterday,Bo is fine. He has to win only 3 more to get another year. The guy was pretty confident with his statement.
