Players already get stipends on top of their scholarships if I'm not mistaken. I don't know too many student athletes that are having problems making ends meet while in school. Their families may be a different story though. Some families rely on their children to pitch in during and after high school to make ends meet. I think the majority of supporters feel that schools make a lot of money of the backs of young student athletes and that they need to be compensated more than they currently are. Although it is a good theory and would likely be well received by larger universities, and obviously the athletes themselves, smaller universities will find it difficult to financially compete even if it's properly regulated. If it does come to fruition, they are going to need to create significant amount of guidelines and regulations. I would much prefer to give back to the student athletes by sinking the money into better facilities and equipment (much like Nebraska has/is doing).

Sometimes it bites you in the a$s) Nebraska vs Missouri = Nebraska vs Michigan (Strong offensive team that's usually in the mix)

When you guys say tethering, are you meaning tiered? I have the original Droid Incredible. It has been a great phone in all aspects but one. The battery life is pretty bad. From what I've heard about 4G, it doesn't look like the networks will be up and running at any complete capacity or coverage until 2013. I would say your best bet would be to get one now and get grandfathered into the unlimited data plan. As hardware and software improve, they will require more data use to run various applications. The cell companies realize this, and that is why they are all migrating to tiered plans. They would eventually be losing some major $ if they did not. Also, if you are "waiting" for the next best phones (technology), you will always be waiting. There will always be something better months from now. Often times you can get a better deal on a phone through an online retailer like Wirefly or Newegg verse going through an official Verizon store. I've dealt with both with no issues.
