  1. Really...Last I checked, Clemson got mudholed about as bad as we did and that was to a 5-5 team. The difference between us and the rest is that we lost to a RANKED team. Only OU and Texas can claim that also. sh#t happens and we as Cornhusker fans should know about that. I did not know NW was ranked? The games listed up top were played this weekend. What part of that do you not understand. I did not see NW on that list.

  3. Beck has been compiling the plays that work and will unleash all of them in the bowl game. He just doesn't want to show his hand to early and that's why he hasn't been running them often.
  4. Taylor Martinez. Rex Burkhead. Lavonte David. The Freshman RB Trio. I could go on and on. Saying this staff doesn't take recruiting seriously isn't supported by the facts. Lance Thorell, Cassidy say differently. Read my other post about the official visits. Taylor sucks and two players doesn't make up for the rest of the team being average at best. Read my last post about wasting 30 official visits, it's Solich recruiting all over again. He gave you 7-8 names, you give him two and claim you're more right? Duh...2>7-8
  5. Short list of unemployed coaches: Urban Meyer Mike Leach Mark Mangino For your short list knapp. Meyer-no way. He freaked about firing Frank after a 9 win season, and look at Bo's win total so far. Leach and Mangino- they both would be chastized by this conservative state after their pasts, and hence knowing these two names would come up I threw in the "nebraska way" because every genious on here wants to get back to the 90's . ANd these two one guy wouldn't fit that "criteria" I see what you did and fixed it for ya.
  6. I want to keep Bo, but hire Mike Stoops as Co-DC. Thats it.
  7. Yeah...I haven't seen an ass get that burnt since being at a STD clinic.
  8. What ever you say coach. I agree with PuttinUp6...You can even add Blachford to list with Cassidy and Thorell.
  9. Beck is sucking sh!t at calling the game so far. We are following the same game plan that we had for Wisconsin.
  10. Freight train Fupa Litterbox Sun-Tan Superman I still like Badgerfan the best
  11. I heard Bo is really interested in the job...Might as well start it now cause as soon as Zook is canned, we all will be hearing it.
  12. Maybe Theo thinks this somehow increases the chances at landing Prince Fielder Is this Theo Huckstible(sp)? I didn't know he got into baseball.
  13. Robinson is starting to feel the effects of the season. He played sparingly in the second half this last weekend cause he got dinged up and it has been that way for a few games. If this trend continues, we might be seeing Gardner in the second half and that would be good for us.
  14. I get two out of three, but not the middle one. I cheer for Michigan other then the Huskers. As for the NFL, it's the Bears and no one else.
  15. Cancelled his other 3 officials...Looks like it is between us and WVU.
  16. If you want to do this experiment, use molasses instead of motor oil. Motor oil is a by-product of refined crude oil and is less dense then crude. Crude oil is so thick that they need to heat it up before it goes into the pipe and continuosly keep the temperature in order for the oil the flow thru the pipeline. That is one of the reasons that the pipeline is to be incased in concrete and buried deeper then usual.
  17. I don't really agree with this...In the last 3 games, we have ran that diamond formation maybe 5 or 6 times. Prior to that, we ran it alot and moved the ball wonderfully. That was one formation that I thought we would continuosly run because of all the different things you could do from it.
  18. Excellent! Find an organization that has something to do with kids and volunteer. I do that already. But I found out that the PSU folks are asking for funds if you want to support the victims of this tragedy. (I posted it under another thread.) Think I'll send them a check...Join me? First of all, I'm not trying to be an ass. But why do people always want to raise money for victims of a crime. I could see if they had lost their house, car or any other personal things due to a crime and were not able to get things replaced. This is a very horrible thing that has happened and I feel for the victims, but I do not see what money will do for them. Is it for legal council? I am just wanting to know. Good questions Many charitable organizations spend their money to raise awareness, educate the community, provide funds for research, and part of the money is spent on fund raising so that they can keep their organization going. My daughter worked for a non-profit in Colorado called 'Invest in Kids'. Their organization provided well baby care for mothers who lived below the poverty line and provided funds for a program called 'Parents as Teachers'. I suspect that the non-profits that have as their mission to stop child abuse spend money on programs to educate young parents (parenting classes), provide funds for medical care/psychiatric care for those individuals who cannot afford these services on their own, protection from the abuser. Some of these folks have to move out of their homes and go to 'safe houses' so that they will be safe from those who abuse them. Things like this. I suspect that attorney fees in a lot of places are waved. Good questions. thank you very much. i do donate to charities and have seen what the money is used for. i just have never understood what the reasoning might be behind these circumstances. agaim thank you
  19. i like the beers that come in a can or bottle. dosnt matter what kind
  20. And this is where alot of people are wrong. The safety measures to prevent leaks for pipelines are taken very seriously. The DOT and EPA do audits continuously to see if companies are maintaining the correct measures for keeping the pipelines safe. Pipeline companies also have to run tools that moniter and detect any defects that have occured on the pipeline. These defects are then reported to the DOT and determined what the seriousness of it is and the measurements to repairing it. In all honesty, a semi hauling oil has a better chance of having a leak then a pipeline does. Sorry, I don't believe that. Their past history shows me that I should not. BP was going to monitor their gulf platforms, Shell their Nigerian operations, and so on. When these citizens/corporations take real responsibility for the damage they do or the people they kill, then I will trust them. There is a big difference between oil drilling and oil pipelines. Its like crab fishing and then sending it to red lobster.
