Identities for offenses are a waste of time these days. Every team in college ball runs pretty much the same type of offense...Multiple. You can watch any team on Sat. and see them run power plays, spread plays, option, and even play ground ball in one game. How can you put an identity on this besides calling it multiple.

This argument can made for at least 70 other teams You're right since there are 123ish teams, but at this point it can't be made for many teams in the top 15 or so. Considering how daunting our schedule looked going into the year, it's been cupcake thus far. We've played 1 team currently ranked (and lost). I'd say every team (including Boise) ranked above us has played a more difficult schedule. (Stanford maybe not so much - and since Wisconsin hasn't played themselves probably not them either.) Please explain how you came to this conclusion? I would like to know.

If we can pick up their blitzes, we have a very good chance. MSU LOVES to blitzes and that could be a bad deal for us given that Martinez gets rattled and jumpy while in the pocket. If he can keep his composure and get the ball out fast, we could really do some damage.

Mullen was always tough when I was in high school. They were in our confrence along with Ansley and it made it fun to play these guys every year. Mullen was the only team to beat me as a starting QB. They always had 4 or 5 Simonson boys it seemed, and about 8 road graders on the line. They straight up were like an 80's/90s Husker team. Ran about 5 different plays, threw it three times a game(for big gains) and were tough as hell on defense. Played with Derek Bailey and Jared Van Zandt from Ansley in the 8-Man All Star Game. Was Koch on the Seward team that won state in 2001? If so, I played him when they came out here and thumped us. I played Danny in basketball in high school. I believe I even blocked a shot of his! He went to start for Colorado St. and then was John Lynch's backup at Tampa Bay for a while. Also played against Joel Jacobs from Mullen, who went to UNK but ended up on the Chiefs team for a year or two. And then in college I laid out Marc Boerichter(sp?) from Hastings in a blatent cheap shot. He played for the Chiefs and is in the NFL record book for longest TD reception of 99 yards. They might not have found anything on the Newton case but what about the other players that came forward and admitted to getting paid for their play. The whole SEC is corrupt and dirty and the NCAA is to chickensh!t to do anything about it.

Tommy is starting to get intrest from Texas and has said that he is solid to us. I really think he was shaded behind Brown last year and now people are starting to realize his potential. We might have gotten a steal in this kid.
