    It's odd how people always assume these recruits don't want to play in cold/snow, and then they always seem to enjoy it when they do.

      My most fun soccer game was in the rain.

      But what I didn't like playing in was cold. Cold + snow would probably be more fun than just plain cold.

      I never felt cold playing football.  I often felt cold standing on the sideline.

      Cold is ok and probably much more safe than playing in the heat. But add a 30 mph wind into the cold and that changes things on the misery index
