  1. That's just because the nation sees Tommie Frazier and thinks he must know everything about the situation at hand, when, frankly, he doesn't any more than you or I. No. It's because after another terrible performance by Bo's team, with his job now in serious jeopardy, he dismissed one of the most beloved players in the history of the program for venting his frustrations. He should have given a more political answer. Tommie has a right to complain. The product on the field has been pathetic. Bo's job is in SERIOUS jeopardy?
  2. Tommie is as big of an attention whore has you'll find on Twitter.... If you follow him on Twitter you already know that he never misses a chance to retweet someone telling him how great he was....
  3. Things middle school girls do: Take to Twitter bitch and rant about their feelings (see: Tommie Fraizer).... Bo had every right to defend his coaching staff....
  4. A suggestion for what Bo could have said. --- something along theses lines. "Hey i appreciate Tommy Frazier and all he has meant to NU football and I know that he is speaking out with a great deal of passion wanting our football team to succeed. So I appreciate his devotion to all things Husker. And I agree with him at least in this --- I too want to see this team improve and will do all I can toward that end. What i love about NU football is the passion our fans --- including ex-players who are now fans." and leave it at that. This Bo Pelini.... Not Dr. Phil.... No way in hell Bo ever says anything like that....
  5. So you think we should fire the entire defensive coaching staff?
  6. Bo is loyal to his guys, and Tommie called for their firings. This is Bo defending his guys, and I will never have a problem with that.... Tommie was being the arrogant, attention whore that he is....
  7. I'm with Pelini on this one. It's one thing to be critical of the program, and entirely another to call for the firing of half the coaching staff. I don't know if Tommie was watching the game or staring at his HOF plaque, but this loss was squarely on the offense. The young defense was holding up fine until our offense quit moving the ball, and getting first downs. Tommie needs to shut up, cancel his weekly show (it sucks), and let the coaches do their jobs. If Tommie's show has proved anything, it's that Bo has forgotten more about football then Tommie has ever known (especially on the defensive side).
  8. say what you want about Manziel, but he is as good a college football player as Ive ever seen....

Bama is shaken right now. We'll see if they settle in, but they better not wait to long.

      Junior

Truth. I can't stand him off the field, but on it.... He's amazing

  9. Dont worry.... Bo will have this team 10-4 by year's end.... just enough to keep his job....

  10. Eichorst? you're up buddy....

  11. If Mich. St. doesn't figure something out with their offense we'll run them out of the stadium this year.... Something like 28-3....
  12. Given the tragic events this week involving the UCLA players, I don't know if an argument can be made for them being focused.....
  13. I wasn't bashing either one of you. Neither of you were being a$$hole$ about it. Personally, it makes me uncomfortable, that is all I was getting at....
  14. This. It is a massive tragedy don't get me wrong, but this couldn't have happened at a worse time. They will all be playing at another level for that kid. It's uncomfortable, and slightly disrespectful to discuss how this tragedy affects the game... Especially it's "timing"....
  15. The jump from game 1 to game 2 was impressive.... Gregory,Collins,Valentine (studs) Banderas, Zaire, Gerry (more studs), and the secondary did their thing... GBR

  16. We could've scored 70 if we wanted to and I think we all know that. Yeah, if Taylor finished the game out it could of been a 70-13, or 77-13 game.... Glad to see RK, and Armstrong get some PT though....
  17. After watching Gregory, Nebraska would have to be appealing to him.... Not mention we're his best offer (at least of the offers listed in this thread).
  18. If we played Wisconsin today it'd be 70-31 all over again

Too soon to tell. Let's revisit again in about six or seven weeks.

hell no more like 77 31

  19. The argument that the NCAA should negate Miami's wrongdoing because of their own is ridiculous. Sure the NCAA went about the investigation wrong, but that doesn't change what happened at Miami

  20. We seem to catch our "big time" non-conference opponents on the up-swing. USC, Washington (kind of), UCLA, and now Miami.... Miami will be tough next year....

      MIami doesn't even look good.

  21. Shanle was still at NU in 2011? I think he's referring to the Saints D coordinator Yeah, that Saints D was real good....
  22. Given the youth, there is more reason for optimism then there ever was last year. Those guys were veterans, therefore the room for improvement wasn't much in comparison to the defense that we fielded this year. Bo should be able to expedite the growth of this group. I would expect a vastly different looking defense from the Wyoming game to the Northwestern game. If the offense can get their sh#t together, and get us through UCLA, I don't see a reason why we can't be 7-0 going into the Northwestern game. At this point, it is absolutely paramount that our offense plays at a very high level. If they can buy this defense some time to grow, I think we can still meet our goals for the year. It's on the offense right now....
