Don’t take too much from Michigan last week. It was 13-10 when Mertz left them game and the backup was not prepared for Michigan to go all out on pressuring a unprepared QB. Also didn’t have Ferguson in the second half either. Michigan got a large gift wrapped second half to look a lot better than they might otherwise had. I believe they were underdogs before the game started.

The big thing that is missed is how bad Martinez throw was on the first play, but he uncorked it no less. The receiver made a nice adjustment and played through the ball to turn it into a big play. We have missed that confidence to let it rip in the past. It also helps to have a oline give you the time to make that throw. Yant has a Le’Veon Bell feel when he was at MSU. Too powerful for secondary players to tackle cleanly and too quick for linebackers to square up on. Hope he continues to get good reps in the rb mix. No special teams miscues is a fundamental key to having any prolonged success.

In general monopolies suck, capitalism is great right up until their powerful structure is threatened by someone not trying to rack in huge profits and could ruin their gains. Then monopolistic/oligarchic tendencies destroy innovation and tend toward max profit structures at the cost of the consumer/public.

We should break up monopolies and tax larger entities to avoid situations where the conglomeration can occur.

Looks like when you complete the data set, some Red states float to the top. Excess deaths instead, but better than the piecemeal state counts. Age adjust deaths don't look too great for the south and NY/NJ.

Northwestern looks very bad at fundamental football. A lot of smart kids making level one mistakes. Hunter Johnson is trash. Sad to see a highly rated dude fail after multiple years/chances. Tate Martell equivalent with less transfers.

Also, who cares if this is real. Let him teach. If things he has done are inappropriate or violate school board policy, they can deal with it. My political science teacher was a libertarian and taught us about his beliefs on every subject we learned. Nobody cared and he taught that class to the entire high school for more than a decade. I also had a science teacher show us 9/11 conspiracy videos on multiple occasions. I don’t believe he faced any consequences either. Teachers come in all shapes just like everyone else.

You don’t remember how trash Zac Lee was, do you? He had a very talented receiving Corp and two very good backs that made TMart a easy freshman starter. A lot of other Nebraska QBs could have directed that 09 team to a BCS/national title shot. Ganz was a gun slinger and although he had issues, he let it rip for better or worse. Most times it was better and that is what you will take when you can’t rely on your defense.
