I know he was offered as a wr but when he puts on weight that's where I could see him ending up in that hybrid role for the team. I would say I didn't imagine Bonner having that role for the team bc just from watching his highlights he is an outside wr all day just bc he is plenty fast. Maybe the coaches looked at him as a blocker and said we don't have anybody as good as him and someone that can stretch linebackers out coming out of the back field or on the line. Don’t quote me on this but I believe the staff basically told him he could play TE dependent on what his body does when he gets here 1 Quote Link to comment

Mavric
Another one that will start out at WR but could (seems likely to me) grow into a TE. Quote Link to comment

Mavric
Three Nebraska commits who could move up in rankings this fall Quote When Clark committed, he had no other Power Five offers and was only being lightly recruited -- perhaps because he is in Bozeman, Montana. But he has a 6-foot-5 frame with a large catch radius as well as NFL and college bloodlines as a Husker legacy. He also offers the safety net of being able to convert to tight end if being a big receiver does not work out, but either way, he will be monitored for a rise from his current 84. 1 Quote Link to comment
