Which is the largest problem with politics in this country, people can't separate being republican, democrat, a tuna fish, whatever from things like science, education, football message boards etc. Get it out of here people. 3 Quote Link to comment

Micheal
I am a UNK alumni and my program (not theater) was cut. Pretty disappointing but I got my degree. I just wish the legislature could have given the university system more money to prevent it. The legislature was asked by the university system for a 3% budget increase and the legislature gave them the 2.5% increase. Hence the cuts. I know UNL athletics have given to the university system before but no way was it going to be able to take care of a $58,000,000 shortfall. 1 Quote Link to comment

Ok, I’m interested, but there’s a thread in the politics forum for Nebraska legislature. Quote Link to comment
