huskerhaze
It was nice to have him playing significant minutes again! Quote Link to comment
Foppa
did he run-block? Hell, did any of them? It was a good thing that KSucks couldn't get a pt. for each tackle for loss they had, otherwise the Huskers could've lost. Can't blame one person though...and glad he's playing again. Man, sounds like he's just lucky to be doing much of anything, what a bad experience. Quote Link to comment

Eric the Red
Nebraska senior center Kurt Mann returned to the field Saturday night against Kansas State for the first time since the Huskers' Sept. 2 season opener against Louisiana Tech. Mann had missed Nebraska's previous five games while recovering from a bout with mononucleosis. The 6-foot-4, 290-pounder from Grand Island didn't start, but entered the game with 8:57 left in the first half to spell starting center Brett Byford. Mann started at the center spot to begin the second half. Prior to his illness, Mann had made 24 consecutive starts for Nebraska. He was in uniform for the first time on Oct. 7 in NU's game at Iowa State, but didn't play in the contest. Quote Link to comment
Touchdown Tommie
It is great to have him back. Hopefully the line will continue to gel with his leadership. Quote Link to comment
gamecocks
It will probally take him a while to get back in to the flow that he was coming into the year. I heard that he lost quite a bit of weight too. That will take awhile to put back on or get used to playing without. Quote Link to comment
Hawkeyehusker
I read he dropped quite a bit of weight. Almost 25 pounds. Quote Link to comment

Man, sounds like he's just lucky to be doing much of anything, what a bad experience. Mann had a great block on Lucky's 40 yard TD run. If they got a point for every TFL, I guess we would too, and I think we would have really blown them out then... Quote Link to comment

Or does your pessimism not allow you to look at it that way? Quote Link to comment

HUSKER 37
Any chance for a Medical Redshirt for him? Or is he playing now? Quote Link to comment
DJR313
Any chance for a Medical Redshirt for him? Or is he playing now? He's played the last 3 games, so no. Quote Link to comment
