gamecocks
I would say that Colt McKoy is a better choice than Freeman. I don't care that Colt has a lot more talent around him. Someone has to make those throws and he has done that. Quote Link to comment
HSKRNOKC
Its got to be Freeman. just look at his QB rating. Quote Link to comment

huskernumerouno
Who is your choice as Big 12 Football Offensive Player of the Year? Â Â Â Â Â Zac Taylor, NU - 77.3% (68750 votes) kicking ass GBR Â Â Josh Freeman, KSU - 21.5% (19136 votes) Â Â Colt McCoy, UT - 1.1% (971 votes) Â Â Jorvorskie Lane, TAMU - .0% (43 votes) Â Â Jon Cornish, KU - .0% (33 votes) Â Â Joel Filani, TTU - .0% (12 votes) Quote Link to comment
north_texas_nebraskan
Sure, I suppose if you're trying to get me going I'll chime in. Â Freeman has had a good year, but only part of a year...and still makes freshman mistakes. Â I actually logged on and voted for Zac. He's been the most consistent part of the team this year and aside from a slightly lower completion percentage and a few less rushing yards, he is putting up the same numbers as Heisman front-runner Troy Smith. He definitely gets my vote. Â Lane...hard to ignore 2nd in TD's, of course you can't just weigh (no pun intended) in on that factor. Â McCoy...has had a lot of help surrounding him making his freshman year a very successful one. I believe he has fewer yards but a better rating than ZT. Still, what ZT has had to do gives him the edge. Â Just think what the possibilties would have been had Callahan decided to focus on one back (B-Jax) or use Purify all season and be the go to guy for 12 games?!?! Â Ohhh.....wait.....I was supposed to dog on anything Husker wasn't I. Crap, must be the fan in me coming out. Or maybe its being able to look at things objectively. Who knows. Â Â Josh Freeman should be considered for Big XII Offensive Player of the Year; I mean when you have six turnovers in one game, that makes you the best in the conference. Quote Link to comment
