BJAX fumbled on our first possession in the 3rd quarter which led to that 45 yard run by Mel Holliday for a TD to make it 14 all. That was the closest they ever got. All big red from there on out. I agree. If Callahan would have went into the USC game with a gameplan to win, NU could have made it interesting. I would assume that it's easier to gameplan for a 2-9 team then it is to gameplan for a Top 5 team. Quote Link to comment

We were a little flat at the beginning of the 3rd quarter, but we finally scored in the 3rd quarter and let them have it in the 2nd half!!! Quote Link to comment
