gamecocks
My roommate went to the game last night and said that the starters looked great but that our bench was not all that impressive. We probally can only go six or possibly seven deep without a huge dropoff. I think this might be a problem when we get into conference play. Quote Link to comment
Fife
I agree with what your roommate said. I too was at the game and I think that our top 7 or 8 guys will enable us to be really competitive in the Big 12. However, if we need to go any deeper than that we will be in trouble. I cannot say how important Maric is. Especially against man defense. He just makes things work. If we lose him we things will get very bad very quickly. Charles Richardson Jr. is another very important piece of the puzzle. He provides a lot of senior leadership on a very young team. It is obvious that he is the main leader on the team. Jarred04
We are a very young team. It will be interesting to see how they play coming up on the road and further into big 12 play. I can't believe he is the first since 1919. I can't believe we played basketball back then! Quote Link to comment
BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
Great start Doc! Quote Link to comment

NUpolo8
NU wins, and out here you were treated to the glory of Cal whomping KSU by 30, and KSU player getting tossed in the 4th. Â But at least Hug was sober for the whole game...... Quote Link to comment
Fife
I'm very excited about our team this year. The 5-0 start has been awesome and our team- especially our starters- has looked great. This weekend and next week will tell us a lot though. We have away games at Rutgers and Oregon. Oregon just beat #23 Georgetown last night at Georgetown. I've never been this excited about Nebraska basketball! Quote Link to comment
mbhusker13
Alex, under Doc's new aggressive scheme has obviously flourished. A couple more wins, and the town will be buzzing. Way to go Doc. Quote Link to comment
admo
The football program is there, the baseball program is there, and now we need the basketball program there as well. 5-0 - This is great! Would love to see the Huskers represent during March Madness!!! Â It's early, but never to early to say GBR!!! Quote Link to comment
gamecocks
Anderson is playing like a senior. That kid does all the little stuff that winning teams need to do. He dives for loose balls, excellent passer from the high post to Maric on the block. He gets a ton of rebounds and can get some easy baskets. Quote Link to comment
HuskerJosh82
I would love to watch the Huskers in March! GBR! Quote Link to comment
