Eric the Red
Looks like Glenn may play this week, but Jackson still has the cast on. Slausen appears doubtful right now. Quote Link to comment
bennychico11
but Jackson still has the cast on. let's hope that happens today and he was only putting it off because of the Holidays. He needs a few days of practice with it off. Quote Link to comment
tattooedhusker
if glenn is healthy and can play then frickin' sweet! Quote Link to comment
melscott62
if glenn is healthy and can play then frickin' sweet! imho glenn is our best back. its close, but I would take him over bjax. both of them are good at makeng something out of nothing(which they have to do many times against good team) glenn gets yards...and he punishes defenders Quote Link to comment
kc_husker
I think Jackson will be wearing a splint during the game. Quote Link to comment
CodyGlenn34theRuskSensation
Sure hope the C-Train gets to tote the rock down here in Big D. It would be a nice surprise. Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
Hopefully he's ready to lay down some Auburn defenders then..............I though B-Jax got the cast taken off??? Quote Link to comment
HANC
Today on sports radio, a practice report said that Glenn doesn't expect to play much, if at all.... He thought he may get used on the goal line if at all...... Jackson has the cast off, but must wear a splint.... BC said that it would be interesting to see how he handles contact this week, but was sure the training staff would do a nice job of protecting the wrist...Lucky will need "shots" to help loosen up back prior to game, and Wilson was jogging lightly, limping today.... The backfield is a HUGE unknown at this point. Quote Link to comment
Always a husker
hmmm... I hope we dont have to use Culbert but then again what if he had a breakout game? Quote Link to comment
Drowning_in_the_Sea_of_Red
Man......I'm actually kinda starting to worry about our RB situation........who'da thunk it at the beginning of the season. We have 4 awesome running backs!! Woo Hoo! Now.......what? Quote Link to comment
Always a husker
I think Lucky is going to be pleased with the carries hes going to get and i really think he will have a breakout game. Quote Link to comment
husker rob
i wonder if LJax is kicking himself in the nuts right about now for leaving? i hope that BJax plays well with the cast off and the splint doesnt hurt his ability to hold on to the ball. It would be nice to see Glenn, Wilson and Lucky all healthy but you cant have everything. wait and see time i guess Quote Link to comment
hack
... but you cant have everything. actually, you *can* have everything so long as 'unlimited storage space' is part of the deal. Quote Link to comment
rawhide
BC said C-train is day to day. Quote Link to comment
HANC
Omaha World Herald had a short story on BJax......He is certain that he is going to play, and is confident the hand will not be an issue. Let's hope he is right !!! Quote Link to comment
