BigWillie
If anyone pays for recruiting news by this bunch, they should honestly be shot. It's nice to see 3 Nebraska boys in the 'Top 150', but where they have them rated, and how they have them rated is a but funny. ------------------------------ RANK NAME POSITION STATE GRADE SCHOOL 1 Will Hill ATH NJ 93 None 2 Terrelle Pryor ATH PA 93 None 3 Dan Buckner WR TX 92 Texas 4 Jermie Calhoun RB TX 91 Oklahoma 5 Julio Jones WR AL 90 None 6 A.J. BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
No Steinkuhler? Very fishy. And Sean Fisher the number one prospect in Nebraska? Quote Link to comment
chuckd
Not having Baker Steinkuhler on this list is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. He is the #1 recruit in the state next year bar none. I think Fisher is a good athlete and I would love to have him, but he's not a top 100 player in the nation. I'm guessing darts were used when they selected this list. Good thing is nobody pays attention to ESPN's rankings, even the writers at ESPN. I remember after signing day one of their writers had a story about how this was Callahan's best class, even though the ESPN rankings had us inthe 40's or something. Even as inexact of a science as the whole recruiting thing is, ESPN is just plain worthless. Quote Link to comment
HSKRNOKC
No Steinkuhler? Very fishy. And Sean Fisher the number one prospect in Nebraska? Rivals has a teaser today about how Steinkuhler was a possible 5 star player. Quote Link to comment
huskerfan500
Espn's rankings for college football is all done by scouts inc. they are not worth a penny in judging talent Quote Link to comment
westgatehusker
I had hadn't seen espn's rankings before HOLY POOPNUGGETS it's worse than scouts!!!! Quote Link to comment
huskerfan500
when going to the nebraska recuirts, it has Steinkuler as a 150 member now along with the other three, It also give Leverson a 73 along with Grixby and Tim Biere the TE from Westside a 71 along with Thorson from Millard North, everyone else is a 40 Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
ESPN is worthless and I tend to not listen to anything they have to say! Quote Link to comment
Axl_sued_me
Jesus Christ!!!!! The top 150 looks like an all you can eat buffet for Texas and Oklahoma. Quote Link to comment
huskerguy
fyi Blaine Gabbert is ESPNs #1 rated QB, but ESPNs rankings suck so how much reliability is there... Quote Link to comment
Licensed to Ill
I doubt ESPN did any research to this anyways. Quote Link to comment
Blackshirt316
Did Gabbert fall out of the top 100 now that he gave us his verbal? Quote Link to comment
