billdozer15
What did everyone think of that pathetic attempt at running the option on saturday? I was going crazy. It was a good attempt at humor by Callahan, giving the crowd a little taste of the past. It was pretty funny to watch, i mean the running back was no where to be seen to even catch the pitch had Ganz even wanted to pitch it. Obviously they don't practice that play much. DaveH
They ran it a few times last year. Not sure if it's just for old time's sake or they are actually trying to show that with Ganz, it's one of the plays that we will run. It worked when Ganz kept it. The pitch didn't work to well though. Quote Link to comment
billdozer15
I think it could be an option next year. Ganz has the speed, and Lee could step in on situational downs ala Tim Tebow. Not that i want to see a purely option based offense agian, but it would be nice to see it every now and then. I think there is still a place for it in college football and could possibly could catch teams off gaurd, especially if you pass from it. Quote Link to comment
DaveH
I am not sure Lee is the running type... Quote Link to comment
EbylHusker
Callahan said on his TV show that Ganz's thing is the option, so when he was in they ran it some. Quote Link to comment

rkhufu7
West Virginia and The Texas Aggies are option teams. Aggies do it from the spread and from under center. WV do it from the gun all the time. Quote Link to comment

admo
I was part of the coverage that was switched over to the Wake/BC game. So I missed the option, Ganz running the show, Culbert, Helu, Glenn and everything else in the 4th. Fortunately I wasnt hating, because it was 45-10. Quote Link to comment

huskerdavo
Ganz is #2 for a reason, did you see his throwing ability. He could have cut grass with how low his balls were thrown Quote Link to comment
