hastingshusker
Bo Ruud played awful. OMG he was bad. Anyone else think that facemask call was full of sh*t though or am I alone? Quote Link to comment
cmb23
Lots of attempted tackles using only his right shoulder pad.... Quote Link to comment
bk144
Bo Ruud played awful. OMG he was bad. I completely agree. He typically under pursues running at 3/4 speed. Honestly if it was not for his measurables and his last name I don't think he would be walk on material. Although it is nice to have rangy LB's who can put up a decent 40 time, I prefer LB's who are physical. If you are going to make a mistake, make it going at full speed. Quote Link to comment
DJR313
Agreed. He did not play well last week. McKeon looked pretty bad too aside from his INT. Quote Link to comment
bennychico11
on the other side of things...how bad ass was Suh! Quote Link to comment

Eric the Red
Bo Ruud played awful. OMG he was bad. Ruud never intiates contact. Lombardi: Arm tackles....grabbing...grab, grab, grab...nobody's takling out there. Quote Link to comment
Oldschool
I only remember the "Ruuuuuuuuuuuuud" call once during the Nevada game. I think his brother is the reason why he's starting for the Huskers. We're deep in LB's, but I want to see some more guys lit up in the backfield. Ruud needs to get it together - he needs to start wrapping people up. It seems like the whole team has had problems with that for the last couple of years. Bo seems to be decent at reading the pass and covering the Tight End, but he doesn't have the ferocity that his brother had. He better get hungry for USC or he's gonna get smoked. admo
Agreed with everyone here about the LB play. I'm sure during film sessions the coaches are pointing that out & hopefully it lights a fire under them. And it translates onto the field. Unfortunately fellas, we just dont have the speed & quickness at the position. Its not a secret. But I am optimistic that these guys are going to play the best games of they lives this weekend! skersOVRsc
Ruud played like crap, Mckeon is smart but undersized and unable to blow up blocks, but I thought Octo played pretty well. Quote Link to comment
no_name_needed_2001
I knew he wasn't that great last year... He got 1st team all big 12 I think last year...when I read it I was like WTF On many sites this year he was rated as the best husker. He's a 90+ overall on NCAA 08 I believe also Quote Link to comment
xkbubo
maybe he will actually back it up this sat ? We'll see.. Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
I hate how he goes for the ball instead of the tackle every damn time!!!! Just hit the m-f'r and worry about the ball as he is going down!!!! Quote Link to comment
HSKRNOKC
ARM TACKLES and JUST PLAIN SLOW! Dillard needs to be in there more. Mckeon played decent and that may be kind. Anyone else like to see Octo blitzing from the end? Quote Link to comment
