huskerNtexas
I, too, think things could work out with this staff, if you promote them all to graduate assistants. Quote Link to comment
JHaWk
I agree, Pud needed to go but Cally has potential, he just needs to step it up. I say fire Coz and see if the team gets better Quote Link to comment
DCHusker
As long as we're throwing out coaching staff preferences, I believe strongly enough in T.O. that I'm willing to support whatever his decision is at the end of the season. We can all complain about the performance of BC's team on Saturdays, but TO may look at what goes on during practices, team meetings, etc. and decide that BC can turn things around next year. He may decide otherwise and hire a new coaching staff. My point is, TO has been around the game long enough that I trust him to diagnose the patient over the next five weeks and decide on a remedy better than any of us can. That's a job I did not trust Pederson to do. Quote Link to comment

Touchdown Tommie
I am pretty torn here. I think BC has the potential, but needs to figure out to relate to college players and the college game. Maybe this is where he can use TO as a mentor and learn some things from him. If Cally has a defense that he does not have to worry about then maybe there is a small chance he can call a good game (note, I said small chance). If Cally stays and does not fire Coz than I have lost all faith in him.... Quote Link to comment

GHOST
why would u want a nfl coach??? the nfl and college is 2 diffrent things unless they get martty because he got fired from the chargers and im sure hes lookin 4 a job Quote Link to comment
junior4949
If Pud could have contained himself for just one more year, we could have had Butch Davis. He was my dream hire if Solich had to be fired. He resurrected Miami from the dead after Jimmy killed the program with his cheating ways. Quote Link to comment
CoachKevin
Didn't going the NFL Coach route get us in this situation in the first place? Quote Link to comment
junior4949
Butch Davis was a college coach first that couldn't cut it in the NFL. He's just like Spurrier, Holtz, Saban, etc. He started at Miami. He built the ruins Jimmy and Dennis left. He fought off sanctions and rebuilt the Hurricanes back the national prominance!
