captain obvious
Just curious. I'm guessing Tommie Frazier wasn't named 1 or 2 since nobody mentioned it. Barry Sanders? Quote Link to comment

np_husker
Tommie Frazier didn't make the list? What a bunch of @#$%. Quote Link to comment
Pedro Guerrero
I agree that this list is a complete waste and is basically just and ESPN/ABC piece of crap. Reggie Bush and Vince Young make it yet Tommie doesn’t? Freaking Charles Woodson at #11 however in their Best by Numbers that turd isn’t even the best #2 of All Time. These ESPN things carry absolutely no weight with me and I’m really surprised that the most over-rated player in the last 10 years Matt Leinart didn’t make the list. Quote Link to comment
BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
Let me know when Best Damn Sports Show does their list..... Quote Link to comment
knapplc
Husker Board is doing it's own (or trying to, participation is pretty sparse). Check out the Contest Crib for current polls. Quote Link to comment

hack
Tommie Frazier didn't make the list? What a bunch of @#$%. yes, but charles woodson from the bogus michigan championship team does. and johnny rodgers only comes in at 23? really? perspective. have some next time, espn. Quote Link to comment
ferrisbva68
I would agree not having Tommie on the list looks pretty bad. I think the first 9 make a lot of sense, but can't believe that Archie Griffin who won 2 Heismans is #21. Quote Link to comment
husker rob
I wonder if any of the list was MVP in 3 straight NC games like Tommy was Quote Link to comment
hack
more to the point, has ANYONE ever accomplished that? nuts to ESPN, says i! Quote Link to comment
walksalone
Did ESPN have a bunch of monkey's working around the clock on that list?? Quote Link to comment

It was actually Sports Illustrated that had the Best by the Numbers deal. I agree though, this list is a crock. Quote Link to comment
clone
Who was named #1 and #2 on that ABC/ESPN/Allstate 'greatest players' list on New Year's Day? Hmmm... if the heisman is given to the BEST COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYER OF THE YEAR... ... shouldn't the list be filled with only Heisman winners?? anyway... It's just some guys opinion. and opinions vary. Quote Link to comment
