Big Red Report:

Assessing the talent: Amongst the best QB's in TX for 2009 class. Athletic QB who can make plays on the ground. Very good short passer who is known to throw as hard a ball as anyone.

Odds of becoming a Cornhusker: 15%. Expect further offers from top programs.

Surprised by the early commit but looks like he will stay local. Good luck to him.

that and the small army of quarterbacks who will be competing for the starting job.

at TCU (a decent little school, to be sure), he has a better chance of starting.

good luck to him.

There are already 3 qb's who think they could start and add Spano to the mix, how many qb's do we need sitting on the bench. I hope to see this staff getting more lineman on both sides of the ball. Get that pipeline going again. Hard to get a top prospect at qb with 4 guys already ahead of them. Maybe after a couple of seasons, start pushing for a couple of the top ones. Right now all you are probably going to get is a lesser talented kid that will need a lot of work to maybe play 1 or 2 years. IMO.

GBR!!!

Rule #1 in recruiting: always get at least one QB

Agreed. Look what happened to Oregon after Dixon was hurt. They didnt have the experience they shouldve had so they suffered.
